For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away.
Information / Review English
Age of Fear 3 The Legend is a tactica,l turn-around Strategy and RPG Game, which was developed by Leslaw Sliwko. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2sLh4uHOQU
Gameplay / Story
A villain captures mystical Creatures to have them fight for Entertainment only, so that others can amuse themselves. It doesn't matter whether they get injured or even die. The Story is from the Point of view of the bad Guys, while your Character is a Dryad, a Creature of Nature who has been captured, escapes and fights its way through the Land with the help of a rider (half Spider, half Dark elf). who had also been captured to fight in the Arena. Along the way, you will try to save other Creatures and solve some problems you may have Encountered. The Game offers you two different Campaigns, which are about Dryads and Dwarves. The Battles are fought in different regions located on a World map so you have an Idea of where you are going and how far you are from the City you escaped from. You can make multiple Choices along the way, whether to avoid a fight or get involved in which side of a fight to help, etc. You have a Map, lots of Obstacles and you need to move your Units intelligently so as not to block each other and still protect your Wizards from Melee attacks by the enemy. There are no squares or hexagons on the Map, but your Units have Bases that must move past another unit's Base in order to pass through. Whenever you select a Unit, it clearly shows where it can and cannot go. Managing units is a lot of fun. You can recruit different types of units, improve them one by one by giving them Skills, and even give the Hero units all kinds of special Equipment. You can choose to Upgrade your units yourself as they Level up: you can either spend XP right away and pick what's already available, or wait for a better, more expensive Feature. There are many different units for you to recruit, each with their own unique characteristics. If you lose a Unit that is not revived during a Battle, all you have to do is recruit an inexperienced new one. So be careful during your fights. On the Battlefields, you will find Gold and Equipment that you can collect during the fight by smashing Boxes and Chests to upgrade your units. Dealers have become superfluous.
Pro
+ interesting and exciting Stories + gripping Missions + extensive Character development + 2 different Campaigns + Combat system + lots of different Troops and Equipment + solid Background music + Achievements and Trading cards
Contra
- outdated Graphics - Tutorial could be better
Conclusion
Age of Fear 3 The Legend offers you a wonderfull Fantasy strategy Game, with lots of Loot and extensive Characters development. Clear buy recommendation in this Genre. PS: First of all, many thanks to the developer who made this key available to us for the group.
Information / Review Deutsch
Age of Fear 3 The Legend ist ein taktisches Runden-Strategie – Rollenspiel, welches von Leslaw Sliwko entwickelt wurde. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2sLh4uHOQU
Gameplay / Geschichte
Seien Sie also während Ihrer Kämpfe vorsichtig. Auf den Schlachtfeldern findest du Gold und Ausrüstung, die du während des Kampfes sammeln kannst, indem du Kisten und Truhen zerschmetterst, um deine Eineiten aufzurüsten. Händler sind so mit überflüssig geworden.
Pro
+ interessante und spannende Geschichten + packende Missionen + umfangreiche Charakter-Entwicklung + 2 verschiedene Kampangen + Kampfsystem + viele verschiedene Truppen und Ausrüstungen + solide Musikuntermalung + Errungenschaften und Sammelkarten
Kontra
- veraltete Grafik - Tutorial könnte besser sein
Fazit
Age of Fear 3 The Legend bietet dir rundenbasierte Fantasy-Strategie mit viel Beute und umfangreicher Charakter-Entwicklung. Klare Kaufempfehlung in diesem Genre. PS: Zunächst einmal vielen Dank an den Entwickler, der uns diesen Schlüssel für die Gruppe zur Verfügung gestellt hat.
Opening/ Information
Reading a review is not enough? Want to see some footage? Check the link and watch some game footage for yourself and decide if this game is worth your time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2sLh4uHOQU Age of Fear 3 is a tabletop game with a great narration and some unique unit developments, using a cartooning art style similar to the retro Warhammer tabletop games from 2000 The Age of Fear franchise is developed by Leslaw Sliwko for 4 years now, and they truly are becoming a master for this genre and I think all of us are going to have a great new experience with the upcoming Age of Fear 4 coming this April.
Gameplay / Story
Lady Nature and her Drider against the world! You are the queen of Dryads, the Lady of nature and well, its kinda boring, lucky for me, you also have an eight legged drider who will fight like… let's say a hungry spider! The age of fear games are one thing, easy to play but hard to master, why? All units get exp and most of them can evolve in giant beasts. From a nice little seed unit to a giant Mammoth Tree you get it by time, and you will love it. The Narration is spot on and together with the soundtrack it is so much fun to play this game. Let's switch to the gameplay, everyone who has already played tabletop or the Age of Fear games knows what's coming to him. You will have a setup phase to deploy your units, movement phase and fighting phases are added to one. It plays wonderful and only two times I had the feeling the game would not move like I wanted it to.
Pro
+ a lot of different creatures with unique skills and spells + Heroes have high tier skills (enslave or instakill) + Different Bosses with unique skill sets + Campaign map is huge with a variety of things to do + huge amount of side quests + fully skill customizable units
Contra
- Graphics are outdated - a lot of tedious side quests - unit balancing is sometimes off, range unit seem to be too weak
Conclusion/ Who will enjoy the game?
Age of Fear 3 offers an addictive game with unique units and a really great effort for a tabletop game. Their is a reason why this franchise, even with this graphics holds up so much, it's the Turn based fighting with a fully upgradable party who can suck so much time out of you to just understand the perfect unit combo for you. It will take some time to get the basic understanding which kind of unit is more powerful than the other and since part 3 has a moral system you also need to check which faction units you use. In case it is the wrong one you units will do far less damage than they can. A lot to consider and check your actions. So who will enjoy this game? Do you like Tabletop games with a great narration? A really well written story and huge RPG elements? Do you like games like Heroes of might and Magic, but you wished for a unit management that considers more than just numbers? Well here you are, and you can have the complete Tabletop RPG Cake. Fantastic RPG, fantastic series! A+++ for me as far as tactical RPGs go. Play the whole series, lose yourself in the countless hours of pure enjoyment. Hope this helps! Much love. <3
Age of Fear 3: The Legend is a turn-based tactical combat game that focuses more on gameplay than graphics. The developers admit the visuals aren’t flashy, but the deep combat system more than makes up for it. You control two campaigns: one with a dryad and a spider-like drider teaming up, and another about a drunken dwarf lord on a rampage. Both stories are fun and full of humor. The game is made up of missions where you face new enemies and challenges. Sometimes, losing a mission can even unlock secret story paths, so don’t be afraid to try different approaches. Battles take place on open battlefields without grids, so moving your units around carefully is important. Positioning melee fighters and ranged units well is key, as crowded spaces can block movement. Between missions, you can recruit new units, upgrade your troops, and customize your heroes with different abilities and gear. This lets you shape your army to fit your play style. The game requires smart tactics—rushing in blindly usually ends badly. You’ll need to adjust your strategy depending on enemy types and mission objectives. The enemy AI is impressive and uses smart tactics like retreating, focusing fire, and using area attacks. I didn’t run into any serious bugs, though sometimes clicks didn’t register right away, and some equipment effects were confusing at first. Overall, Age of Fear 3 delivers solid tactical combat with simple visuals but lots of depth. It’s great if you like strategy and don’t mind the modest graphics. If you’re unsure, the earlier games in the series are cheaper and offer a similar experience to try out. Rating: 8/10
I bought this game during a sale and sat on it for way longer than I should have. What can I say, the graphics and presentation sort of put it the "I'll get to it when I get to it" pile. Well, I finally got to it and I had a great time! 🏆 And funnily enough, the game has only gotten better with age. 👨🍳🤏 That's because the excellent developers "backport" innovations from others in the series to their games, so you get to enjoy the latest and greatest when you play. They really are great -- and response and friendly on the forums, too. 🤗 Anyone who likes turn-based army games (FF tactics, Age of Wonders, Ogre Battle, etc.) will enjoy Age of Fear. You get to run an army, upgrade your troops, try lots of different units and tactics, and have a guided campaign (or two) to keep you going. The design is generous with options and allows for a wide range of difficulties. Pick it up, support good devs, and have some fun... and no need to rush, the game will be great whenever you get around to it. 👴💯
The free game is rather enjoyable, it seemed that the developer was nice and at first they were helpful but the moment things seemed a little sus, not even significantly but only a little as i've been playing this game for years, off the developer immediately jumps to accusing me of being a bad person and quickly decides I need to just go away. If you can get the game at a significant discount than maybe its worth it but otherwise I'd suggest just sticking to the free version. *8/26/2022 edit: The developer has committed defamation by claiming I purchased keys illegally... even showing right below they did not commit any actual investigations behind their claims. I have already reported them to steam. *Edit 9/12/2022 Steam said the review cant include grey market names and so I have edited that line out. *final edit feb 16/2023 Forgot to add this, but since someone linked me to here, I may as well. Les even went so far as to gaslight me, and I've proven they are using non steam methods to try to hinder my ability to operate on steam.

This one will be dope when it gets open world play!
Excellent third installment in the series, adding the fifth and sixth campaigns, with the dryads and the dwarves respectively. I played the campaign with the dwarves, and it was good. The tone was off-kilter and mirthful. You meet (and beat) half a dozen characters from the other campaigns, inflict random carnage, reconquer your ancestral fortress, and slay crafty baddies. The dwarves have strong infantry, good medium-ranged archers, and weak mages. The game gives you an archmage to compensate. At the end you get a strong medium-range cannon. Of the two DLC's, the one with the werewolves is the better one. It gives you a powerful melee hero to play around with. The hardest difficulty felt right. The enemies put up a little but of a fight, and you have to reply entire fights if you make mistakes. Hope to see a master edition some day, with an engine rewrite in something other than Java, and with all the campaigns in one place. Great series - thank you to the devs!
I have bought all the series of this game, the fine product of Zhanqi game, but I don't understand why the production team does not make the game's character models more exquisite? The character graphics model is really ugly, it feels like an old game from the 80s. If the production team looks at the graphics and character models well, the game will be popular. The game is a good game because the character models are super ugly. I hope the production team will make the character models more beautiful when the fourth generation is released.
