Lovely little walking sim with amazing voice acting and some unique puzzles. Would highly recommend completing the game in one sitting.

I liked the game - for those who like to walk around, look at everything and listen, the game is very suitable, and you can complete it in one go. It's really an interesting and high-quality indie game.

For anyone who hasn't yet purchased this game, then I wholeheartedly recommend Blackwood Crossing. I can sum the game up in two words...'Utterly beautiful'. You won't be disappointed. I was hooked from beginning to end. It will pull at your heart strings. I was in tears at the end.

When it comes to gameplay-mechanics, not the best. But when it comes to the experience, I really loved it. Very emotional and interesting characters.

Blackwood Crossing is a very nice narrative-driven game about two siblings. You play as the older sister Scarlett and navigate through different environments to keep an eye on your younger brother Finn. The gameplay includes finding hidden items, problem solving, matching dialog between characters, and more. I appreciated Blackwood Crossing for its surreal settings and its interesting plot. I LOVED seeing all the different masks and other creative touches in the environments (nearly everything has a story). The game offers a bittersweet experience and I think that if you like games like What Remains of Edith Finch you will really enjoy Blackwood Crossing. Overall I would recommend this game. Give it a try! Find some bunnies and posters.

This was a beautiful game that I completed in just under 3 hours, and that was taking my time to go slow and examine every proverbial nook and cranny. The narrative is fairly straightforward, which I appreciate because too often I find in narrative games there can be too great of a gap between story points to allow for the "actual" game play, but at no point was I asking myself, "wait, I can't remember what happened earlier, how does this part of the story tie in to what I saw before?" The juxtaposition of the different dialogue choices, the achievements, and the shorter length of the game give it decent replay value, but I would replay this again just for the story alone. If you're a fan of narrative games and art that hurts, I cannot recommend Blackwood Crossing highly enough.
