Mobile game pretty much with simple controls. Everything is super slow, character jumps take long enough to make you fall asleep in the meantime. Controls are left, right, jump and smash. Levels design is horrible as you only move left or right without any substantial platforming. Quests boring to play. Overall unnecessary game in your library.
A mobile port with gameplay mechanics and controls to match. The cute art is the game's best asset. Everything else: the overall speed, the auto attack mechanic, the floaty movement, the tedious battles, — makes for an experience best avoided.

Neat game, or so it would be, if controls weren't so awful. Well, to be more specific, the dash controls. Because, despite what the tutorial tells you - dash/dash attack isn't bound to "double tapping the direction" - it is actually bound to "press the direction key within about 2s after you have moved in that direction". Why is that a problem? Well, imagine you moved in the direction of the enemy to attack them - you would want to stop in front of them, instead of bumping and taking damage, right? Now imagine you stop just a little bit too early, or, god forbid, the enemy moves a bit away from you. What, do you think, would happen when you press the same direction again? That's right - you dash. Dash, wasting an action point (skull) on an utterly pathetic attack that does almost no damage and, more often than not, leads you to bump into a different enemy when it ends. This one thing basically renders the game unplayable. And, of course, being a mobile port - there's no rebinding of anything, and options for anything other than volume
I love this game—the art is beautiful, and it has a great story and good music—but... It’s a PC port of a mobile game, which brings some issues: Keyboard controls are terrible, even though they’re decent on a controller or Steam Deck. Screen scaling isn't perfect; things that worked in the mobile version—like staying airborne indefinitely while hitting a monster—don't work anymore. This is really annoying since many enemies tend to fly far away, plus the ceiling is very high and the lateral view is limited. Things inherent to the game that I find stupid: The Dark Harvest. Why have an arena mode that doesn't interact with the main story save file when there's already an arena in the campaign? They should combine the two to make it easier to earn money for upgrades. The way coins fly off-screen (even if there's a lore explanation for it). You make a few choices during the story, but they don't influence anything other than the amount of XP and gold you earn. The final fight was a bit underwhelming. It's also annoying how you get locked into a mission once a fight starts. Finally, you never take part in the war that follows the elimination of the demons, nor do you get revenge on the Grey Old Man. It’s an okay game—I like it a lot—but it could be better.
купил игру, пошел в тайгу резать кабанов, дикарей, летающие камни, вернулся домой и зашел в эту замечательную игрульку которая научила многих, в том числе и меня быть евреем.
Very enjoyable world and an okay combat system. Direct mobile port. Extremely linear with 0 replayability value. You either have no choices in matters, or when you DO have choices, they lead to the exact same outcome. Last third of the game feels very messy, with combat encounters being utter garbage - there's no intelligent design or difficulty, it's just millions of the same two flying enemies. Final boss sequence is both very grating and rushed, and the boss itself has one attack and relies on 90% damage reduction to stop you from rolling it over. Enough said.
Limited options, may not run on your modern system, uninspiring combat, get's repetitive and recycled rather quickly. Try something like Hollow Knight instead.
absolutely god tier for a mobile game
Do not get the wrong impression, I LOVE this game dearly and appreciate the love that went into it. Big fan of this game, but it is SUPER flawed in the one department that you encounter most; the fighting system. The fights are very tedious and it takes about 3 fights per quest. That's not too bad until you consider the ungodly amount of quests you have to do before beating the game. The story was incredibly entertaining to theorize on, yet it's hard to enjoy the story due to the frequency of battles (especially around the end of the game.) The battles themselves are pretty fun, yet the lack of new enemies and instead recolored sprites becomes upsetting after a while when everything is introduced. The level design is also god awful in some scenarios. There's one specific fight that comes to mind, where you have to fight flying enemies, enemies that shoot projectiles (that can stun you,) and melee enemies. The catch is there's two platforms, and thorns that surround both edges parallel to one another. thorns do damage when you jump on them, and the gap makes it practically impossible to jump it without taking damage. And unless you have an upgrade to reduce the damage taken from falling into pits, you will lose almost all of your health by falling. By the way, did I mention pits are EVERYWHERE in this game to the point that upgrade is practically mandatory? spoilers for how the final boss plays out,
the final boss was dragged out for SO long, and it wasn't even fun to get through due to the fact the boss has a singular attack it does the entire fight. I want to love the boss to death because of the design, yet it was so frustrating. along with this, the one attack it does has homing stun orbs so if it flies above one of the arena pits, good luck. It took me 6 hours on and off to beat the boss and it didn't feel rewarding rather relieving.
I could never bring myself to play this game again because of this element alone. Finally, my last gripe would be with the bouncing coins. there could be 500 coins total in a chest but because the money bounces, you're going to get 70 coins tops. It really feels like the game had more passion put into the art direction and dare I say story (in which it really starts to pick up around the end) had more love put into it than the main part of the game itself. The game is beautiful. But please just watch a playthrough.
