The best part of this game is the passion that the developers put towards recognizing other franchises. Unless you're a serious puzzle nut who is OK with the game (not the puzzles) being frustrating, I can't recommend.
Would be fun if i could play it. Support for all new xbox controllers is completely broken, does not work at all with any of them
No undo button, finicky and irritating
Very tedious due to the lack of undo button. Levels are a succession of mini-puzzles, each with failed states that require to restart the whole level

After enjoying Seasons After Fall and Tetrobot, I figured I'd give this game a shot. I really liked Tetrobot, so I thought I'd have a similar experience with this game. The game booted into a weird stretched resolution, and each time I attempted to change the resolution the game would freeze for about 30 seconds. I tried each resolution and could not find one that scaled properly to my 4k monitor. I gave in and used one that ran it around 1/4 of the monitor. Once I started playing, there was no indication of what to do. Easy enough to figure out, but could have used a brief explanation. The controls are locked into arrow keys and changing other keybinds is cumbersome. I overlooked all of this and the resolution and played a few levels. I had read in other reviews that there was no undo mechanic. I quickly realized how that would scale as the game progressed, and I decided to abandon this game without getting very far. If you are looking for an enjoyable experience like this, just play Tetrobot.
A competent puzzle-platformer that hides its derivative nature behind meta-references and nostalgia. The game succeeds at what it attempts but fails to acknowledge the irony of its premise—recycling blocks that matter into something that ultimately doesn't.
https://youtu.be/AB0UqDQhLxw After a decade of time has passed what is on offer here is just not polished enough when up against other more modern titles. Sadly a semi-classic without long staying power.
This was one of the first games I played on steam. Great design but where it falls short is not having and undo button. In the earlier stages you may not even have a need for such a button but as the stages progress, it becomes unforgiving when you make a mistake, and if grave enough you will have to restart the entire level. Take your time and you won't have trouble. If you like platformers and puzzles I think you will more than enjoy this one. 7/10
