Black Rainbow Mystery: Amazon Escape

This hidden object game was one of those where you were going to these fantastical places but like, The plot didn't make an awful lot of sense. it was on the longer side for a hidden object adventure game, but wasn't as compelling as some others.

It wasn't godawful, but it wasn't very good either, or even memorable. I'm not even sure how the title was relevant. Like others have said, this isn't your normal HO game. Cateia Games at this point, probably shouldn't be considered HO games, they're more like puzzle adventure games. Pros: > Map, Action Notifier, and Fast Travel! Thank you! > It's got achievements! > A little bit of interesting puzzles, some unique ones > The item silhouette thing that tells you what things you need Cons: > The object you need for something is usually just placed in the same map, way too easy > That said, some locations only exist for one object or puzzle, it ends up feeling like they padded it unnecessarily > The story is so silly, so very very silly > I wouldn't call some of the puzzles as puzzles, there was zero challenge in any of them you might as well call 'push the button' a puzzle I'd recommend waiting for a really big discount or sale before getting this one.

Pretty great visuals. Puzzles are ok. Story is nice but probably not the leading element of the game. I strongly advise to NOT play it on casual. Accept a bit higher challenge, it ads extra value to the game.

C'est de l'aventure point&click très casual avec une unique collection, on ne peut pas vraiment dire qu'il s'agit d'un jeu d'objets cachés. On se ballade, on résoud quelques énigmes soit avec des objets ramassés par-ci par là soit par un mini-jeux pas bien sorcier. Et puis voilà. L'histoire, élue qui sauve le monde des forces maléfiques dans un univers parallèle, est vue et revue mais n'est ni meilleure ni pire que la moyenne des HOG (oui, ce n'est pas un hog et c'est faiblard pour un point&click mais c'est juste pour situer le niveau). Tout ça n'est pas sublime, donc si vous ne cherchez pas du casual et si les images ne vous plaisent pas, cherchez un autre jeu. Pour les autres, à petit prix Black Rainbow ppeut offrir une paire d'heures de détente sans prise de chou. Moyen quoi.

谢谢汉化组的劳动 https://steamcn.com/t211229-1-1 一款解谜游戏，有内置成就，没卡没Steam成就，人物有点奇怪，解谜的提示也少，许多时候不按“HINT”根本不知道怎么下去。 汉化包有点问题，用了后地图不能瞬移，路再远也要自己跑了。拿到有背景的东西时（如开始时的装满水的水桶）要按“esc”键。通了一遍熟悉后还是换成原版的吧。 建议打折的时候买吧。

感谢@acethical的key~！ 非常一般的游戏，不推荐。 一般来说对于解密游戏这种良莠不齐的种类我是很宽容的，但这个游戏很糟糕。 - 操作僵硬，反应迟缓，物品提示不足 - 剧情有些傻缺 - 女主角压根没露面 - 人物身份交代不清 - 画风不是很喜欢，人物称得上是丑了...原始人也怪怪的 - - - 原始人祭祀（？）山洞里居然有钢琴？？？喵？ ++ 地图引索做的非常到位 + 配音很用心（虽然我怀疑只有两个配音，一个男的一个女的....） 2/10，完全没有打算玩完的游戏。

I have to say I really enjoyed this adventure puzzle game. There is a collectible, journal & map that lets you hyper jump and shows where an action can be taken. It is 3 pages long. You need the map because you can also hyper jump in the game as part of the story. So unless you want to walk enormous distances as the game progresses, use the map. There is a good help/skip button. Enjoy the puzzles & mini games - they are not overly complicated. Collect a lot of inventory. I realize the characters remind you of games from back in the past but it is worth it. The rest of the artwork is pleasant. While it is not sharp & clear like a more modern game, it did not hinder game play. Travel on earth, under water & in the clouds. So go ahead & save the world - again.

Wow, even for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ point and click games, this one was BAD. Plot: absolutely nonsensical, which is pretty standard for the genre. It did however seem to go out of its way to include the most agonisingly racist cliches possible. Seriously, just why. Why. Minigames: mostly fine, though there was one I skipped because I couldn't really figure out the logic to it. Not particularly difficult on the whole. Fetch quests: about as logical as usual for the genre, which of course means I ended up facepalming a lot. (Why do you need a stick to pull up some tiles YOU JUST HAD A CROWBAR ffs) Graphics: Stop trying for realism when you can't pull it off. Just. Please. Make some styalised stuff. Lowpoly is trendy! Pseudo-claymation looks great with much smaller levels of detail! It's a 2D game, you're allowed to use 2D art!! As it is it's incredibly forgettable, in the sigh-another-of-these way. Sound: Tries way too hard. Might have worked if the plot made you feel like there was some stakes, but as it is it's laughable. UX: Quicktravel! Excellent! Would have been improved by allowing you to double-click on your destination, I kept trying that out of sheer habit. Diary function recorded hints, also good! (Would have appreciated finding out said hints in-game rather than having to read the diary to get them, but that's a different issue.) LOVED the you-can-walk-here button, first time I've seen one of those and it's EXCELLENT, it's often hard to tell in these kinds of games. Inventory a little clunky, but in a very standard way for the genre. Seriously: everyone in UX design and implementation? MVPs, only things stopping this game from being a completely unplayable mess. Well done! Overall: Seriously, just why. Making a game is a pretty big effort! Why would you waste it on something this terrible. You could have fixed a LOT of the major issues with a few hours consulting even a mediocre narrative designer! I am very glad I got this one a ridiculously cheap sale.
