Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's fine

What the hell happened to Larian? Divine Divinity was so good and then this?? This game is a mess. Story is stupid, there's no logic at all, voiceover is so bad that is hounds me in my nightmares, every aspect of a RPG system from first game was changed here and completely ruined. There is not a single thing I could praise as at least decent. And BUGS!! Bugs everywhere, some of them so severe, that it will ruin your gameplay. The saves in the last level get corrupted so you cannot load and the whole game is lost. BRAVO to whoever was responsible for quality assurance...

Very rough game. Hard to say it was even worth playing just for the lore, though imo, it just barely tips that scale for me. Play it only if you can put up with some unfathomable jank and voice acting so bad that you'd think they were actively trying to make it as ear grating and immersion breaking as possible. This mixed with the annoyance of controlling two characters at once in a system where clearly one character was meant to be controlled and also constant bugs and game crashes that will have you spamming the save button every 5 steps to safeguard your prgoress. Back onto the voice acting though, the imps and Ranaar have this horrible, horrible grating filter over their voices that varies in intensity from just annoying to so distorted that you can't even tell they're speaking words. This coupled with very tedious game design and exploration gets on your nerves very quickly. Sure, you can turn off voices, but then you aren't getting the whole awful experience. Storywise, it's pretty okay, but that isn't worth playing through everything for. The whole plot of the game is summed up in like 2-3 books on the damned one in Divinity 2, and you by no means have to have played this game to play Divinity 2. You can even view Divinity 2 and a direct sequel to Divine Divinity and ignore this game's existence. Again, if you are an absolute lore fiend and desire every single drop of experience out of the franchise, then you can maybe suffer through this game. In my opinion, it's worth avoiding or looking up a synopsis of the plot and moving on to Divinity 2 which has a few problems in its own right as well, but far less than this game.
