The UI and actual select buttons do not synch up with the UI and it's unplayable. also it gives me major motion sickness with contant quick spinning

I kept it running in the background just long enough to let me give this half baked trash a negative review. The buttons don't synchronize at all in the UI, which many people have complained about - your UI is BROKEN for some people, so fix it! It's pretty ridiculous that such a basic issue couldn't be fixed, or that it was even released in this state.

Gameplay is fun but I'm having a menu issue on Windows where the menu items aren't properly aligned with the red buttons. Also, when I go to the upgrade menu this same issue makes the text unreadable since they're covered up by the perk buttons. I checked online for a fix and I see a few from 2017 for Mac but not Windows. Shame that what seems like such a simple UI scaling issue hasn't been fixed in so long as it makes the perk progression basically unusable. Comments are enabled. If anyone has a fix I'll change this to a positive review.

Not refunding because it seems like fun if you got into it. But there's basically no tutorial, and I couldn't really figure out what I was doing. Plant stuff, defend it, go to another planet, repeat. There's hints of deeper mechanics but I couldn't get it

The very first thing you'll see upon opening this game is the misaligned UI for the language select screen. Immediately afterwards, you'll realize that every single menu in the game has this problem. Main menu, artifacts, high score, options - none of them have a properly aligned highlighted option. Additionally, the icons on the upgrade screen when you start a subsequent playthrough after your initial one overlap the text describing what each upgrade does, so it's very difficult to understand what you are upgrading. Although it's fairly easy to understand the gameplay, there's no tutorial. There are like 20 text boxes that show up in the first 60 seconds on your first playthrough, so you have no time to read or absorb the information presented in font size 6, especially since you will also be busy dodging projectiles and firing at the rapidly-spawning enemies. Combined with the buggy UI, this makes for an exceedingly poor first impression. After reviving 2 planets, you are immediately thrown into the first boss battle with a pretty crazy difficulty spike. The AI for the pewpew towers (defense turrets) often prefer to shoot at the ground instead of at enemies. It's very rare for me to dislike videogame music, but much of the soundtrack here was not ethereal and spacey as one would expect, but instead rather grating and irritating. The gameplay is fine overall and the graphics are cute; however, there is a severe lack of polish and refinement. Seeing as how the most recent update came out over a decade ago, I am not optimistic that the UI and other problems will be fixed any time soon. Normally I wouldn't refund a game I bought for $1.50, but this experience was more frustrating than enjoyable, and I don't anticipate the problems here to ever be rectified, so I did not see myself returning to this game in the future. Unfortunately, due to the numerous issues present in this game, it is very difficult to recommend.

В целом, игра могла быть неплохой. Но на столько все криво и косо, что буквально при заходе игры тебя встречает безумный крик звуков и музыки, которую очень удобно регулировать. Чтобы прибавить казалось бы нужно просто нажать стрелку вправо, и громкость увеличивается. НО ЧТОБЫ УМЕНЬШИТЬ ГРОМКОСТЬ, НАЖИМАЯ СТРЕЛКУ ВЛЕВА, ТАК ЖЕ ПРИБАВЛЯЕТСЯ ГРОМКОСТЬ. Спасибо, я оглох. Из минусов так же криво проработанные враги, которых даже если и тяжко убивать, они не справедливо сильнее, в том плане, что могут спокойно тебя убить. А сам геймплей еще унылее.. Тебе буквально нужно летать в космосе и взращивать на планетах живность, но это сделать ОЧЕНЬ ПРОБЛЕМАТИЧНО, поскольку эти самые враги появляются постоянно, а чтобы взрастить что либо нужно время, которого не хватает, из-за летающий в космосе тварей. Хоть бы не много под запарились над волнами, либо тупо впихнули монстров. А ну да, оригинальность нужно сохранять, чтобы стоимость была приемлемой. За 250 рублей можно миллион пазлов из стима накупить, интереснее будет.

只能说还不错，但内容挺少，一直就是重复占领星球、打怪、到处乱飞，这几个内容 画面挺简陋的，刷的内容也算多了，普通怪就掉一个点数，解锁一把武器就要1500点数，随便一个升级就是好几百点数 宇宙飞行的体验太烂，根本不知道在往那个方向飞，视角和地图方向不匹配，经常无头乱飞找不到方向 还有就是每把流程太漫长，飞的慢，造的慢，每次地图还是随机的还得到处飞找星球，飞行体验又差 但5.4元玩玩还是不错的00

Can't recommend in its current state. There might be a fun game lurking underneath the jank, but after about five minutes of play I'm already questioning if it's worth the effort. The on-boarding experience is awful - you're given barely-comprehensible instructions in five-point type with button icons so small it's impossible to read any of them, and you have to decipher all this while being blasted from all sides by rapidly-spawning enemies. That plus the bugged-to-hell menu UI makes for an overwhelmingly negative first impression. I was thinking of requesting a refund, but having bought the game on sale for about the price of a candy bar, I'm going to hang on for now and see if the developer addresses any of this. Should that happen, I'll happily update this review to reflect that. Again, maybe there's a fun game under all this - it certainly looks and sounds like there should be! - but this is barely Early Access quality right now, let alone a full release.
