Keeps the essence of the original while adding some new refreshing mini-games. The addition of non-binary identities and more customization options is so nice as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loved the original game.

I got completely hooked on Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker 😭 I played over 15 hours in just 2 days and basically finished the game because I could NOT put it down. The gameplay loop is genuinely addictive, the humor is charming, and I actually found a lot of the matchmaking mechanics surprisingly challenging in a fun way. Every date felt stressful in the best possible way because one wrong move could ruin everything 💀 For ₱460, I think the price is okay considering how much I enjoyed it and how quickly I got obsessed with it. There’s still content I haven’t unlocked yet like some restaurants and mini games, so technically there’s more to do even after “finishing” the main progression. The Steam achievements are actually pretty hard to do too 😭 I was only able to unlock 9/29 even after grinding the game so much. My only real disappointment is the ending. Once I hit level 20 and the storyline hinted that I was moving on to the next town, I got SO excited thinking the game was about to expand even more… only for the credits to roll and the game to reset me back to level 1 😭 It honestly felt more like a punishment than a reward after grinding so hard. The game does get repetitive after a while because you’re basically grinding dates over and over just to level up, so when I finally reached level 20 my reaction was literally “wait… that’s it?” 😭 I really wish there was more post-game content or an actual continuation because the gameplay itself is genuinely so fun and replayable. Still, I’d recommend it if you enjoy management/simulation games with chaotic mini games and lots of personality. I just wish the ending matched how addictive the rest of the game was.

This game is nothing short of fun and silly, it's great for if you're just looking for something to play that's lighthearted, simplistic, and easy. It's been a favorite of mine since it came out and I honestly feel like it's a wonderful remaster of the first game. The artwork is lovely, the consideration and attention to detail is a delight, and the new minigames added are so much fun. If you're in the market for something funny, lighthearted, and lgbtq+ friendly, then this is your one stop shop for all the fun.

This game is actually really great! I’ve been a fan of the original since it came out, one of the first open representations of queer people I had seen and I was infatuated. Since then I’ve also played Kitty Powers Love Life which I also really adore, great for when you get attatched to certain customers and overall just really my style. I was very hesitant about Kitty Powers Matchmaker Makeover, but I am very pleased with the game. The new graphics allow for a lot more diverse customers and matchmaker representation and I honestly love some of the small tweaks and changes this game did. The new mini games are fun and you can tell a lot of effort was put into the game. Progression is a lot more structured and I adore that you’re able to have your own personal touch on the agency’s building. Overall I’m having a lot of fun with the game and I’m actually about to purchase it for a friend!

This game is every bit as delightful as the original and then some! I love how optimized and shiny the game feels. Everything runs very smoothly and I spent five hours playing this immediately after downloading it because I just couldn't put it down. Load times for dates did begin to go up somewhat over time, but that did not stop me one bit.

God! So many hate spam mail with broken hearts! Its a fun game though. But god! It was hard enough trying to get a good reputation on the 1st game but on this one? Pah! GL!

the original was my favorite game ever as a kid and im very happy to have seen a remake come out. this has all the core mechanics from the first game but extra rendering and shading in the art style, more mechanics during the actual dates, and so many other features. this is a wonderful game and heavily addicting
