its old, its not high end graphics, but the story is interesting the world is very sandboxy, and the puzzles and challenges are great. give somethign from the 90s and chance!
Worth every penny. This is what I grew up playing and absolutely loved the game for the music and story. Gameplay is there... Graphics are obviously dated but if you can still use your imagination and appreciate how much effort went into this game for its age.. you'll enjoy it. The books are a good read too!
This game is my happy place. I love the narrative, the exploration, the way you can find entire extra story-lines depending on what location you go to.
Laughably bad. Super cringe. Cheesecake. I had no idea what I was doing and I really don't care to figure it out. Horrid graphics. They may have been nice in 1908, but we have 3D now. Got into a battle and some rods came out of the ground and started zapping my party until I was dead... FINALLY! After that, I was able to get to the menu screen and log out to DOS. These old ass games serve no purpose anymore. They are super janky. I mean if you are super nostalgic, just watch a YouTube video or something. However, there are other games that have improved upon literally every angle of a game like this. Being that gameplay sucks ass, read the wiki or something if you want the story...if there even is one. The dialogue made me want to slap the text out of their mouths.
Still a great game after all these years. A little rough around the edges due to its age but I had fun playing again. Good music too.
