I have been using this for few days now and I love it. It is simple and easy to use and just works :) What I would like to see is an option to view the exercises separately to the work out sessions as I find that if I don't know a exercise I need figure it out on the fly. To have the option to view them and learn them with tips out side of the work session would awesome and pretty help full Other than that this is worth every penny and delivers on everything promised. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some way to get more active.
Pros: Since it's a Steam app, it saves in the cloud - I can run this on my laptop when traveling. Something I could not do, at least not conveniently with my fitness programs on the Xbox. The ability to enable/disable the built-in music. I'm not fond of the built-in music but I can mute just the music while keeping the other sounds on. The tips are awesome! I keep them on. However, the user has the ability to turn them off. The ability to turn on/off different types of exercises like strength, abs workouts, jumping, etc. I turn them all on, but it's nice that the user has control of these options. Lots of backgrounds - I have already unlocked a lot of these, but there's still plenty more to unlock. Lots of other pros but this review is already turning into a novel. Cons: I only have one con but it's a big one - Timers: For some reason there are two countdown timers when the code can do the same function with one - one for the overall time left and one for how much time is left for the current exercise. Not only are these timers out of sync with each other but both of them are inaccurate. I try to workout for 30 minutes each day before heading to work. When I start this up I have set the session to 10 minutes instead of 30. On rare occasions setting it to 15 minutes is actually 20 minutes but most of the time it is 25 minutes. Setting the session to 15 minutes is always over 30 minutes. It looks like one second on the timer is actually two seconds sometimes. The exercise countdown time is also inaccurate. If it's a 20 second exercise, it actually ends with 11 seconds left. Sometimes it ends with 8 seconds left or 5 seconds left. Sometimes it's actually correct and ends with zero seconds left. It's too inconsistent. Wish List: I wish there was an option to choose either metric or imperial system. As an American I agree that America needs to get with the program...I mean "programme" and switch to the metric system but we haven't. Although America, Liberia and Myanmar are the only countries on the planet that use the imperial system it's still the language that we speak and we're over 400 million strong. If the code actually takes into consideration what the user's weight is when presenting which exercises to do, then please don't force the user to use a calculator to convert their weight every time they want to change it when Boot Camp Fitness could be doing the work for the user instead of the user doing the work for Boot Camp Fitness. Overall: When it comes to be a good workout tool, Boot Camp Fitness delivers. It does a great job of combining strength, cardio and even stretching. It's also at a very fair price. I highly recommend it.
A very useful application for adding some variety to your daily workouts. The developer is also responsive and frequently releases updates with new exercises and features. It's lowkey worth more than full price.
This "Boot Camp Fitness" has a disappointing lack of Drill Instructors screaming at you
Has a good methodology to do a common sense workout with modern techniques and a good stretch routine after your done. All in all not bad
This app ensures that you can exercise in the comfort of your own home without any additional equipment. You can also disable jumping exercises so as not to disturb your neighbours below you. I recommend it.
Great game to keep yourself active! it's really nice to have a full library of exercises to do at home and on the go with a laptop. im looking forward to further updates (new exercises) and to unlock all the different locations and achivements. I enjoy this game and you should give it a go.
simple yet motivating and very customizable for different levels of fitness :) ps: nice soundtrack
My total recommendation. I love the improvements to the program, that are made by the dev;, Keep the good stuff up and running. A note by me i am not involved in any sports or so. If possible do the exercises at least 3 times per week. I get a clearly good benefit from it all ready. If i just could get to more time per days and week ;)
I enjoy boot camp. Good workout.
