Baladins

While there are unfortunately still a few bugs (not any of them game-breaking, to my knowledge), Baladins is a surprisingly generous offering, with lots of quests, charming characters and silly dialogue. This is best enjoyed in multiplayer, which requires one controller per character, and can be played with local players, online, or a mix of both; and thanks to Steam Remote Play Together, not every player needs to own a copy of the game.

it's like playing D&D but groundhogs day where you keep going back and learning more about the world and making better choices (and a little cheating since you can bring stuff back in time with you). it's a grindy fun fantasy game that i highly recommend even solo

A cute little storybook adventure game that has you travelling around the map gathering items to finish quests in order to feed an unsatiable dragon. The art is very cute, the story is charming, and it has local co-op, so it's a perfect cozy game. My only gripe is that it felt much harder to complete with only 2 characters, but the solve is to just have each person control 2 characters if you're playing with a loved one.

This is one of the best games I've ever played - so unique, charming, and absolutely addictive. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I personally really like Baladins! Singleplayer - only if you manage to have multiple controllers to play multiple characters to get more done during your weeks / time loops. Multiplayer - I've been playing with a friend and we've managed about halfway through the game (I think) and I am disappointed at the lack of wiki / guides available to assist when something just doesn't seem possible and you just need a little hint. A lot of things rely on random encounters and a lot of luck, and it can be very frustrating trying to get those things to happen before you can move on a step in a questline. I really want to complete this game because it has been very fun, I think the graphics and interactions are cute, and I love the concept of it. Just frustrated about lack of information needed to move forward at times.

I enjoy the premise and gameplay of this game but in this state I cannot play it. I have encountered a bug which freezes the game and prevents progress, reliably every time on the "week 3 turn." Baladins has an in-game "bug report" tool which is itself broken. I informed the devs via steam discussions that the bug-report is broken and they are currently unable to devote resources to fixing it. If that's the case, then this progress-preventing bug may not get resolved for some time. I'm not ♥♥♥♥-talking the devs but I DO want you, the review reader, to know that if your experience is anything like mine, this is a game you can't make progress past week 3 unless that bug is fixed and it doesn't sound like an update is super likely.
