[h3]Before you buy you need to realize this is NOT completed. Episode 3 is not out, and they have episode 4 planned.[/h3] This is an episodic game where you have to buy the episodes separately. This came out in 2014, and second episode came out in 2015, it's been over 9 years waiting for Act 3. It's not a bad game, but it's a very short game, I know I didn't pay full price and I don't remember when I got the game, it's been sitting in my library for years. I completed this game in 1 hour and 43 minutes, and the price is 6.99$. My biggest complaint minus the time it took to beat was the graphics of how James shirt was done This game and the puzzles are extremely simplistic and it's super easy to get through. The story is ok, but this is Act 1 so I guess I'm waiting for Act 2 to go on sale because I'm not going to be paying full price if there's a big chance I can finish that in under 2 hours. According to their website Act 3 is in production as they announced it with a trailer in 2022. I just can't recommend the game, it might be worth it to play for some, but wait to see if Acts 3 & 4 get released before you pick it up.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.

Une très bonne surprise que ce premier volet! L'enquête tient en haleine, on est dans un point and click très classique qui plaira aux amateurs du genre. On mène une vraie investigation, on ne passe pas son temps en associations improbables d'objets qui plombent le scénario. L'animation un peu "figée" donne l'impression d'un jeu "old school" qui m'a un peu rappelé Gabriel Knight. Et même si on ne joue pas dans la même cour, l'ensemble, quoiqu'un peu court, reste agréable.

No está mal, pero me parece que el juego ciertas problemáticas técnicas. La historia es interesante, pero hay una parte que a veces se buguea, que es cuando ves a la monja tomando vino, porque no le podes hablar como tendría que pasar en la historia para agarrar un objeto que necesitas, sino que no te deja. Ni siquiera cuando volvés a un anterior guardado de una escena anterior, una cagada porque tenes que empezar el juego de vuelta. Es horrible porque la historia parece interesante pero una paja tener que hacer todo de vuelta.

Short, but fun and intriguing adventure. Best played with the Italian voices.

Poznanie całej historii z uwagi na to, że została ona podzielona na epizody, będzie wymagało od nas zagrania we wszystkie cztery części serii. Fabuła gry opowiada historię byłego księdza, który zostaje wplątany w konspiracje sięgające samego szczytu Kościoła. Jego dawny, mieszkający w Rzymie przyjaciel wpadł w tarapaty i jest to powiązane z teczką pełną kompromitujących Kościół dokumentów. Watykan nie cofnie się przed niczym, aby je odzyskać. To jest mniej więcej zarys fabuły i można ją określić słowem "ujdzie. To jest główny problem Shadows on the Vatican. Wszystko w tym tytule możemy określić słowami "ujdzie". Rozgrywka zamieniona w point'and'click przynosi ze sobą wszystkie elementy, które kojarzymy z tego typu gier. Przeszukujemy lokacje, zbieramy niezbędne przedmioty, rozwiązujemy zagadki i rozmawiamy z napotykanymi postaciami. Wszystkie te elementy są "nawet". Jedynie o grze aktorskiej nie można powiedzieć złego słowa, bo role odegrane są z sercem i profesjonalizmem, a głosy pasują do bohaterów. Grafika jak przystało na gry typu point'and'click opiera się na ukazywaniu nam lokacji będących dwuwymiarowymi tłami. Jednak wszystkie postacie są już trójwymiarowe. Nie ukrywam, że według mnie wyszło to dosyć kiepsko i rozbija to trochę graficzną spójność. Shadows on the Vatican jest grą brzydką i ani tła, ani postacie nie przyciągają naszego oka, a uważam, iż jest to fundament dobrze wykonanego point'and'clicka. Grę w skali dziesięciopunktowej oceniłbym jakoś pośrodku, ale szczerze mówiąc nie poleciłbym jej żadnemu znajomemu. Nie polecam więc też wszystkim innym, ponieważ uważam, że na rynku gier jest wiele point'and'click, które bardziej zasługują na uwagę graczy.
