[h1]L'aventure dont vous êtes les (drôles) d'héros ![/h1] Baladins, c'est une aventure narrative en coopération qui nous plonge dans un univers médiéval-fantastique coloré. On y incarne une troupe de héros un peu particuliers qui doivent accomplir des quêtes tout en gérant leurs stats et leurs lancers de dés, le tout dans une structure de boucle temporelle assez intrigante. Si vous cherchez un titre à faire en coop qui ne se prend pas au sérieux tout en proposant un univers solide, vous êtes au bon endroit. La DA est super propre, et l'humour (mention spéciale aux jeux de mots) a fait mouche tout au long du live. Le lore a l'air plutôt profond et les choix semblent avoir un impact réel sur le scénario, ce qui donne envie de s'investir. On est sur un mélange curieux : il y a des éléments de RPG avec des stats, des lancers de dés et des quêtes, mais dans le feeling, on se rapproche quand même beaucoup d'un visual novel interactif. On n'a pas encore pu creuser à fond le concept de boucle, mais le potentiel est là. C'était ultra cool en stream et on a toustes hâte de voir ce que la suite nous réserve ! Un très bon jeu narratif, avec des personnages hauts en couleur et une histoire qui donne envie d'en savoir plus ! J'ai vraiment aimé les traits d'humour et les références par-ci par-là. Vos choix façonnent réellement l'histoire, et ça, ça fait du bien. L'aspect RPG est très limité, on est plus proche du visual novel à choix, mais ça ne m'a pas dérangé personnellement. Un gros plus également pour la DA graphique avec des illustrations extrêmement mignonnes et des chara design réfléchis et originaux. Bref, j'ai passé un très bon moment en stream avec mes camarades, et j'ai hâte de continuer mon aventure ! I personally really like Baladins! Singleplayer - only if you manage to have multiple controllers to play multiple characters to get more done during your weeks / time loops. Multiplayer - I've been playing with a friend and we've managed about halfway through the game (I think) and I am disappointed at the lack of wiki / guides available to assist when something just doesn't seem possible and you just need a little hint. A lot of things rely on random encounters and a lot of luck, and it can be very frustrating trying to get those things to happen before you can move on a step in a questline. I really want to complete this game because it has been very fun, I think the graphics and interactions are cute, and I love the concept of it. Just frustrated about lack of information needed to move forward at times.
Une bande de Baladins hauts en couleurs qui partent à l'aventure et résolvent des quêtes dans un univers fantastique ! La DA et le chara-design sont très réussis, les personnages ont toustes leur charme, les touches d'humour sont très efficaces. Les choix et les stratégies adoptés ont un vrai impact sur le développement de l'aventure. Mention spéciale pour l'élément de boucle temporelle qui apport un aspect presque roguelike au jeu. Si vous souhaitez initier des joueureuses au RPG avec des mécaniques très simplifiées, Baladins s'y prête parfaitement. Je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de découvrir l'intégralité du jeu mais j'ai passé un excellent moment sur Baladins et j'ai hâte de le relancer. A cute little storybook adventure game that has you travelling around the map gathering items to finish quests in order to feed an unsatiable dragon. The art is very cute, the story is charming, and it has local co-op, so it's a perfect cozy game. My only gripe is that it felt much harder to complete with only 2 characters, but the solve is to just have each person control 2 characters if you're playing with a loved one.
