About
Welcome to the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger.
Set in the fictional world of Eora that was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
The Living Lands is an island where the air hums with ancient magic, the flora seems to move with a mind of its own, and the ground beneath your feet shifts with secrets waiting to be unearthed.
Now, the Living Lands faces a dire threat—a mysterious plague that defies nature and reason, spreading chaos across its sprawling wilderness.
As an envoy of Aedyr, you are sent to investigate, but what begins as a mission of duty soon becomes deeply personal—you feel as though the land recognizes you and is pulling you toward something greater. The choices you make will ripple across the Living Lands, shaping the fates of its people, its creatures, and even yourself. But beware, for every decision carries weight, and the forces you encounter will not hesitate to test your resolve.
Can you navigate the tangled web of intrigue, power, and danger to uncover the truth? Can you save this unknown frontier and your soul from the forces threatening to tear them asunder?
Even more to do in the game! This update brings New Game Plus, a Photo Mode, a brand new weapon type with two-handed staves, the ability to change character appearance whenever you’d like, new character creation presets, additional Godlike presets, custom game difficulty settings, and the addition of three new playable races: Dwarf, Aumaua, and Orlan.
The Living Lands is a place that feels foreign yet somewhat intrinsic to you as it feels the island itself is calling out to you for help. Explore an island home to many different environments and landscapes, each with their own unique ecosystem.
Mix and match swords, spells, guns, and shields to fight your way. Dig into your grimoire for spells to trap, freeze or burn enemies, bash them with your shield, or use range bows to attack from a distance.
Companions from a spread of species will fight alongside you, with their own unique set of abilities. From a former mercenary to an eccentric wizard, they will be part of your journey with your choices shaping them as you help them with their quests.

Very beautiful atmosphere.
This is quite nice. Depth in characters, multiple story angles. Combat is very fun. There are a lot of different combat tactics and styles. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. I'm already on my second playthrough.
8/10 Made me an Imperialist
played around 45 hours: Pros - First 2 areas are really beutiful Like the exploration Like the parkour and finding secrets combat is really nice cons - at some point the fights feel a chore - i played in heightest diffuclty and the enemies just have too much hp. like normal enemies takes seconds to do even when you have max stats and gear Too much dialog - and with "choises matter" like too many, I got into the final act and i thought to my self, oh finally the ending! but noooooooooo there still a big map to explorer. I don't bother to end the game, the fights just arent good enough to carry this game
Парадис душная херота, надоело
游戏平庸但仍是个佳作,有些罐头,有时间且打折可以品鉴一二,战斗系统优秀,打击感较爽但缺乏深度,给个好评:p
7/10
Very decent game. It is not the most deep RPG with intricate and complex mechanics, but sometimes you really don't want something too deep. Good fun and runs well.
What it is A Fun combat-focused role-playing game, with an emphasis on exploration. It has a fun combat system, its exploration is fun and very "Game-like" where you see chest everywhere you go. As a pillars fan, its a nice exploration of the living lands, and adds enjoyment if you already are a fan of eora. Pricepoint set by microsoft unfortunately is not worth it i would say, and having bought it for $35 dollars, thats a good price and would not mind paying $50 dollars for it. its a game that has improved a lot since day one, and overhated by youtubers, critics. Try it out for yourself, its fun
