A nuclear disaster has left an area of Britain in tatters. Atomfall, a new survival-action game, will see you explore, scavenge, craft, barter and fight your way through beautifully recreated scenery in search of answers.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 9/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A survival-action game inspired by real-life events, Atomfall is set five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England.
Explore the fictional quarantine zone, scavenge, craft, barter, fight and talk your way through a British countryside setting filled with bizarre characters, mysticism, cults, and rogue government agencies.
From Rebellion, the studio behind Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, Atomfall will challenge you to solve the dark mystery of what really happened.
Player Driven Mystery: Unravel a tapestry of interwoven narratives through exploration, conversation, investigation, and combat, where every choice you make has consequences.
Search, Scavenge, Survive: You’ll need to scavenge for supplies, craft weapons and items, and fight desperately to make it out alive!
Desperate Combat: With weapons and ammunition scarce, each frenetic engagement will see you blend marksmanship with vicious hand-to-hand combat. Manage your heart rate to hold a steady aim and ensure you have the energy you need to reach for your cricket bat and land the killer blow.
Green and Unpleasant Land: The picturesque British countryside, with rolling green hills, lush valleys, and rural villages belie the dangers that await you. Navigate cult-controlled ruins, natural caves, nuclear bunkers and more as you explore this dense, foreboding world.
Reimagining Windscale: A fictional reimagining of a real-world event, Atomfall draws from science fiction, folk horror, and Cold War influences to create a world that is eerily familiar yet completely alien.
The good
1: When it comes to the graphics and map design, the aren't any faults. The map is incredibly well designed, with tons of references to English media (Hotel in Wyndham references Fawlty towers for example.) 2: The gunplay is really nice, headshots feel satisfying and guns feel like they have actual weight to them. The could be some more variety in the weapon department.
The bad
1: Melee combat could be summarised as being atrocious, there's no block mechanic and melee weapons tend to not do much damage. I tend to find myself avoiding melee combat whenever possible. 2: The story is short, too short. Those 35HRS I have in this game have been spread 6 or 7 playthroughs. On-top of that the endings tend to feel lacklustre. Also with the lead system, you tend to feel directionless at-times. 3: The AI is awful, my pug has better survival instincts than this AI. I've had AI repeatedly climbing up a ladder while I was at the top with my gun out. Ai getting stuck in random spots and AI just standing dormless in the midst of combat. On-top the isn't much in the way of enemy variety. I feel that with the human NPCS it would make sense to rework them so they aren't so suicidal. 4: The map feels quite small, the are only 4 explorable areas.
5 If you count the interchange
The lake district is a HUGE piece of land-mass with multiple towns and hamlets inside of it. By the 10HR mark, you've practically explored the entire map. I feel its a missed opportunity really.
CONCLUSION
I feel that you should only get this game on sale or on gamepass, its a solid game do not get me wrong. But I felt it needed more time in the oven. Rebellion should've focus on expanding the map, reworking the player AI and melee combat and reworking some aspects of the story including expanding the endings out.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Very restrictive and unfun inventory/weapon/loot system that feels designed to make you have to choose wisely what to keep and what to leave behind. It's very unsatisfying. The melee also feels horrible so running out of ammo so easily just makes the game feel unplayable. I swapped to easy mode and it did not make it more fun.
A Gem of a game! Top tier AA ,even a AAA game made by the people behind Sniper Elite of all! Clever setting to be able to use a lot of assets from the Sniper Elite series (Seems like it atleast) but the writing... I didn't know Rebellion had potential for good writing after experiencing the story and dialogue that Sniper Elite games had. If anyone has played a game called Eastshade, this reminded me a lot about that. A quest leading to another quest and added a pretty fun shooting to boot. It is like a lovechild of Oblivion, Far Cry and Stalker. A really good match all around. Also cudos to the Engineers that made the optimization for this game. I was able to run highes settings at least 90fps with my setup at 3440 x 1440 and still have my PC be completely silent, didnt even curve my fans. I bet I could run this game with playable framerate with my entertainment PC as well with equivalent of GTX 1060.
Really great game. story is solid, the exploration is great the maps are just small enough to where you dont really need fast travel there are enough things filled in each area to keep you busy. only real complaint is the combat, it needs some work, hits dont register enemy hits do but they arent even near you, but luckily you can change game difficulty settings seperately so just bump the combat down and keep everything else high, and enjoy a solid clue/reading style exploration rpg.
game is not what it said it is. you have super limited ammo. But the npc do not if ammo is limited the npc should have the same. when something said your immune to something that means it should not kill you in 3 seconds. but that is how this game work. the automated defenses should shoot at everyone not just me. the guns ignore all npcs. no one had access to it for so long the guns and robots would not have anyone in its database so every one should shoot on site. this game is more like solve the mystery games no true story line. no way to know how to play. not worth the money i spent on it. would not recommend to buy stay away.
Me: woah an open world RPG game? I can't wait to customize my character and get into the plot Atomfall: No, you can't design or even see your character. You also have no voice, or name. Our plot has a great hook though! Me: what is it? Atomfall: a telephone will call you, say some mumbled garbage and hang up. This will inspire you find the truth. Me: what if I don't care for the telephone call? Atomfall: shut up you ungrateful cow Me: Well I can collect armour and outifts to change my stats right? Atomfall: Be happy with the brown gloves you see holding your gun. That's all you get. Me: Well I can fight enemies and collect a bunch of loot right? Atomfall: Sure! but you can only carry 4 weapons and your backpack fills up in about 12 minutes of playing, forcing you to leave most of the loot. Me: So the exploring is mostly for collecting gold and levelling up? Atomfall: Levelling up is outdated. We are going to force you to explore repetative areas for 'stims' that you can spend for upgrades. Yes you will have to grind for them for no reason, and most of the upgrades will be to remove the quality of life problems we put in the game. Me: ... Atomfall: Also who wants to collect gold? There's no popular video games with money in it. You will have to barter for your goods Me: so I can trade like a few things for a few things right? Atomfall: You will have to trade almost your entire inventory for one of the two good things a trader will have. You will then treck back to your last fight area, collect the loot we forced you to leave behind, and trek back like the donkey you are Me: Are there points to access a storage across maps to save things? Atomfall: Of course there is you silly bean! But you get like 3 per area and they will be suuuuper out of the way Me: That's ok, I'll just fast travel to them. Atomfall: What? no, no, no, fast travel is yuck. You'll be walking everywhere. Me: why? Atomfall: *shrugs shoulders* Me: so the landscape will be full of interesting fights, NPCs and easter eggs like other open world games right? Atomfall: You love stupidly large meadows with nothing in them but a swarm of random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attacking you relentlessly and draining your health, then entering a shack, finding four pieces of broken glass that your inventory is already full of, then dying to a trap we placed for no reason. Right? That counts as these NPC's you speak of? Me: No Atomfall: then no Me: Did you say swarms of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Atomfall: yeah, we're going to have everyday animals go feral and swarm you with no decent way of protecting yourself. This will happen every time you finally stop being annoyed at us. Me: Why? Atomfall: Shut up. And stop crying. Me: are there like cool items I can collect from quests in order to undo some of these annoying elements? Atomfall: Quests? We were the cool kids in school so we call them 'Leads'. You wouldn't understand. And no, there will be no reward to completing the leads. Also prepare to be lost and confused because we do not believe in giving you directions or lead markers to help you complete these useless tasks. Me: Then why do them? Atomfall: There's literally nothing else to do in this game Me: sounds like you removed every fun aspect that other open world and RPG games have. How am I supposed to have fun playing this? Atomfall: fun?
I normally dont play games of this style. However this one looked interesting and picked it up on sale. This is such a good game. The story, the choices, the environment. All of it is so enjoyable. From starting out afraid of everything to feeling (almost) invincible. I completed the game in around 20 hours and I wish the game was another 20 hours long. Will eventually be picking up some of the DLC to continue the fun
I think most people go into this expecting a British Fallout, but that's not quite true. The gameplay is similiar to OuterWorlds if anything, very little in the way of guided storytelling the player is given 'leads' and chases them down of their own accord without map markers or the familiar hand holding you get in most modern games. Interesting mythology, premise and with enough variety that I'd feel comfortable to play through multiple times which helps as start to finish you're looking at less than 15 hours gameplay. Weirdly the biggest issue for me, a Brit, was all the English accents lol 7/10.
