LEGO® DC Super-Villains

Out of all the Lego games I have played so far, This is probably one of the best ones! This game is fantastic! Holy Cow! The amount of effort that went to this game is noticeable! From all the Previous Lego Batman Games, this one takes the cake! Honestly this was such a huge improvement from both the Lego game Formula and also the Lego Batman Franchise. The graphics are one of the many highlights. You can see the minute details on the Lego pieces and even on the characters themselves, if you look closely you can see the plastic surface texture on the figures, the fabric on the capes, and the tiny Lego print on the pieces. The visual themes are also very nice and the HUD pops out from the background like a comic book. Levels are more structured, and don't feel as linear at times thanks to the camera angle and intricacies of each level, such as the puzzles in each mission requiring multiple different characters in different areas. The beginning levels felt more like traditional 3D platforming levels from PS2 Era mascot games. The story is a huge plus too, You create a custom character that acts as the main protagonist, being able to customize practically almost everything. Customization overall is probably the best one out of all Lego games. You get to unlock new powers throughout the journey as well, every other level unlocks a new ability to solve puzzles and find collectibles. Because this is a Villain focused game, there are more interesting scenarios and this time the heroes don't win when they fight. They also implemented a good reason as to why the Villains are trying to save the world. The comedy is still your classic slap stick Lego humor, but feels modernized. Punchlines were executed correctly and it never felt obnoxious or annoying. Gameplay is Diverse and enjoyable, even if there are returning characters from previous games, they play completely different and have new abilities, some characters even have unique Walking styles. Its not clear at times what certain characters do but most have multiple functions so you can 100% a level in free play with minimal characters. They made sure there was plenty of boss fights, almost every story Mission has you fighting a different Hero. The combat also feels very improved. Everyone has a Grab ability that gives you 2 finishers, a slam ability and characters Leap towards enemies from a great distance, Its not quite like Arkham, but its pretty satisfying! The Hub world is really nice, detailed, compact, with enough activities and side quest to do. People walk around so it feels alive with police patrolling the streets. You finally get to explore Metropolis plus Smallville, and they even have a wanted level if you commit a crime like destroying a police car. You can enter different lairs and even some buildings. The only Dissatisfaction I have with the game is that Minikits don't build a cool little vehicle anymore or a small diorama, they just build a newspaper panel and that's kind of a bummer since they are not visually exciting. Every time you complete a level it takes a long time to go through the completion menu, even mashing continue does not speed it up much. When you launch the game you have to watch all the logo cut scenes and cant skip it, this can get annoying when you launch it multiple times. The DLC Missions were kind of short and not very exciting. This is an amazing Lego game, its incredibly fun and charming, its now one of my favorite Lego Games and my Favorite Lego Batman game Thus far. It was a great execution on how to freshen up the formula by adding new mechanics and positive changes, but also still keeping core classic gameplay elements. This is definitely a Recommend for any Lego Game enjoyer or just Gamer in general. A great Co-op game as well! It is just as fun single player as it is with a friend. Don't skip this one!

No such work of fiction has this much immeasurable love and greatness than this. If one were to ask me the best game in the world, it would be this. I absolutley gargolyedified about the gloriousomontonuesly map. You have Gotham City, Metropolis and Darkseid's something evil planet in lava world in front of Earth. I forgot the name oh well. Wait I think I remember it actually never mind I don't. I suppose I could google it but it's 8:19 right now and I'm a bit to lazy to do that. I'm think of reading some of James Patterson's books. Only because I heard great things about his writing. The number of characters LEGO DC Supervillains has is pretty amazing. I love how unique the characters are. Some even have their own voice lines despite not being part of the main story. ALSO THEY HAVE CW DC SHOWS ADDON PACK!!! I first played this game around 2019 and platinum it on PlayStation in 2021. On Playstation I have 200 hours on record for this game. I legit just walked around the map so many times because I find joy in small details while freely roaming the cities. Details are better detailed in the detailing of the city. I recently did it again on Steam. SO FUN! IMO Batman's gliding is better in this game than the new LEGO Batman game. I LOVE IT SO MUCH I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I made MYSELF in the game and I named it WILLIAM!!!!! I'd name it Will but that's too short apparently, MY 1st STEAM REVIEW NOW GIVE ME MY STEAM POINTS

to bad there probably isnt going to be a 5th installment in this universe, really like the new looks and graphics in the game and they could add so many new charcters in modern day lego game

This feals like a next gen lego game to me. The fact that you get to create your own character who appears troughout the game in cutscenes is so fantastic. Your character is mute but that only gives you a chanse to play as supervillain doomslayer.

Ótimo jogo, a história principal é inspirada nas HQs da Liga da Justiça dos Novos 52, mais especificamente no arco Vilania Eterna, um arco que justamente traz um destaque para os vilões tendo que lidar com o sindicato do crime que no caso deste jogo estão procurando a equação antivida a mando de Darkseid. Para quem é fã e como de costume em jogo da LEGO, terá diversos personagens desde os mais conhecidos até os que você fica "Quem é você?", um prato cheio para passar o tempo.

It is a fun lego game that is not as boring as lego marvel superheroes 2 to 100% all achievements please make sure to buy the deluxe version if you are going to 100% all the achievements cuz 30 achievements come straight from dlcs

“It's Good to Be a Villain” Well, it's an unforgettable experience, let me tell y'all. This game has everything - boss fights, races, runners, riddles, puzzles, 200 characters from DC, and so much more. Seriously, imagine if this wasn't a Lego game; it would literally be a masterpiece among superhero games. All the aspects here are just splendid. The storyline here tells a not-quite-typical story, and it's incredibly cool. The same goes for the game's bonus episodes from the Lego DC films - it's a great addition that makes the whole package even better. The only thing I could call a real problem - where is the quest designation? And maybe the interface itself. In conclusion, I just wanna say: you should try it, even if you don't like Lego games. __________________________ “Хорошо быть плохим” Что ж, это незабываемый опыт, давайте я расскажу. В этой игре есть всё - битвы с боссами, гонки, ранеры, загадки, головоломки, 200 персонажей из DC и много чего ещё. Серьёзно, только представьте, если бы это была не Lego-игра, она буквально стала бы шедевром среди супергеройских игр. Все аспекты здесь просто великолепны. Сюжет здесь рассказывает не совсем типичную историю, и это невероятно круто. То же самое и с бонусными эпизодами из Lego DC-фильмов - это отличное дополнение, которое делает игру еще круче. Единственное, что я могу назвать настоящей проблемой - где здесь обозначение квестов? Ну и, пожалуй, сам интерфейс. В заключение я хочу сказать: вы должны попробовать эту игру, даже если вы не любите Lego-игры.

One of the best LEGO games there is...even for those that don't particularly care for the DC Universe

It's the buggiest LEGO game i've ever played - Playing YEARS after release and the bugs have never been fixed. Had to Restart levels due to soft locks like a boss getting bugged or a puzzle mechanic like a laser beam not lining up.. (restarts fix it) The game design is the weakest of the franchise yet, as well. Prior LEGO games tellegraphed clearly the interactions needed to complete puzzles. This is the first LEGO game i've ever had to look up a guide on what to do on a level and i've 100% all prior games with no walkthroughs. The skills/Abilities of the characters are also the worst implimented so far - if you don't know the character and all their canonical abilities you have to open the menu and read their skills otherwise you won't know what character you need for what interaction as there are just SO MANY. This might be awesome for hardcore DC fans who are intimate with all the villians, but for a casual DC enjoyer you need to crack open the menu and study characters you don't know like a fanboy. This is just the worst made game in the series unfortunatly.
