A nuclear disaster has left an area of Britain in tatters. Atomfall, a new survival-action game, will see you explore, scavenge, craft, barter and fight your way through beautifully recreated scenery in search of answers.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 9/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A survival-action game inspired by real-life events, Atomfall is set five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England.
Explore the fictional quarantine zone, scavenge, craft, barter, fight and talk your way through a British countryside setting filled with bizarre characters, mysticism, cults, and rogue government agencies.
From Rebellion, the studio behind Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, Atomfall will challenge you to solve the dark mystery of what really happened.
Player Driven Mystery: Unravel a tapestry of interwoven narratives through exploration, conversation, investigation, and combat, where every choice you make has consequences.
Search, Scavenge, Survive: You’ll need to scavenge for supplies, craft weapons and items, and fight desperately to make it out alive!
Desperate Combat: With weapons and ammunition scarce, each frenetic engagement will see you blend marksmanship with vicious hand-to-hand combat. Manage your heart rate to hold a steady aim and ensure you have the energy you need to reach for your cricket bat and land the killer blow.
Green and Unpleasant Land: The picturesque British countryside, with rolling green hills, lush valleys, and rural villages belie the dangers that await you. Navigate cult-controlled ruins, natural caves, nuclear bunkers and more as you explore this dense, foreboding world.
Reimagining Windscale: A fictional reimagining of a real-world event, Atomfall draws from science fiction, folk horror, and Cold War influences to create a world that is eerily familiar yet completely alien.

Reviews
Meele combat is awfull, guns are ehh not good but not bad either, the enemies with shotguns can hit you from across the map while yours can't even kill or one shot someone half a feet away. Combat encounters too are just too much, enemies respawn and just chase your forever, not to mention hits not registering at some points and no way to defend yourself. Good game visuals and story somewhat but combat is just awfull.
Atomfall lets its mystery unravel no matter where you wander and no matter what NPC you kill. I love that type of gaming freedom and it is baked into Atomfall's DNA. Turning off the waypoint system, like the game suggests, is a must and IMHO it made the game better; even if I had to unlearn years of reliance on those systems from other titles. The setting itself feels very quirky, very British. I really appreciate the Druids and their territories leaning into the Folk-Horror look; like the original The Wickerman movie from the 70s. Love that. Final Rating: Refreshing Cuppa.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Anti-aliasing was so bad/nonexisting that i had to refund the game.
Es fehlt der Spielfluss und der rote Faden. Dadurch ist das Game einfach krank langweilig. Man weiss ueberhaupt nicht wo es lang geht, was passiert, was man machen muss, wo muss ich hin, was ist das Ziel etc..... Eigentlich Schade. Das Setting, Gameplay und Grafik sind super.
It sounds really petty but, until the devs increas the inventory OR a mod comes out that does that I have 0 interest in this game. Was cool at the beginning and has an intriguing story! But my kleptomaniac self who hates the tiny inventory you are given this has got to be a HARD pass. ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE'S A SPECIFIC ITEM TO HELP YOU FIND MORE LOOT, THAT YOU CAN'T ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CARRY BECAUASE YOUR INVENTORY IS SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SMALL
The world building and scenery are good, and it's nice to see a game set in England. However the game is massively let down by gameplay. It feels like it would award patience and persistence but for some players that just means it will fail to grasp your interest before frustration causes you to lose it The combat system is clunky on PC - it might feel better on console or with a controller. Enemies are tanky and appear in large numbers at points of interest making it hard to explore. Ammo is a scarce resource so it feels like you're being pushed to focus on melee or stealth. Except there is no block in melee - while you can stun lock one person with kicks and attacks you are rarely fighting just one person. The Stealth mechanic feels barely there - it's constantly daylight and the only place you can hide is patchy tall grass that only really appears in obvious ambush/sneak arenas.
Whenever you load in to a new area, all enemies respawn.
Base Game: Simply put, a simplified British Stalker with Fallout dungeons and Bioshock limited on everything you need.
This really is a Budget Game and the price tag is hard to swallow. I cannot recommend it at full price. I don't know why Rebellion thinks they can shovel out something like Resistance for $50 which was a $30 mod at best. This has less content and yet has the same price tag of $50. What happened to the quality, Rebellion?
What did they get right?

Art Direction and Sound Design. I think Rebellion has always been impressive and solid in this respect. All these years playing their games since AvP was always impressed.
Map Design starts out impressive, but feels like built to be flashy for one time through... but you will traverse it tons of times. Back and forth, back and forth.
Exploration and investigation approach are done well.
Writing and Voice Acting are all convincing and top notch.

What did they not?

My god, the inventory system is abysmal. They are going to have to come up with something much better if they do a sequel.
It suffers from the big expansive aspect of the engine for shooting long distances. Not walking pizza deliveries. While gorgeous, the world still feels somewhat under-utilized and empty or deliberately added long walks just to pad time. Needs serious work on flow and utilization.
And speaking of weapons, were they an afterthought? So much more could have been done, customizing or improvized silencing. It's a shooter at its heart for Pete's sake. Ammo can't be unloaded from weapons, but you can inspect it! lol
Gun combat is a downgrade to a generic model with limited ammo. Doesn't have to be Sniper Elite, but something would be better. Even with Stalker and Metro as influences I am really surprised at what it landed at.
Arrows seem to sometimes stick out of something and other times delete themselves.
Heavy consolitis in design elements and clunky UI.
Areas of the map you get stuck on things, really odd collisions and moments. Things seems reused a lot, even the actors.
Stealth is actually less than Sniper Elite series. Which was really surprising. Very clunky and doesn't work(?). They could have done so much more with it. Peaking/leaning corners, more distractions like tossing a rock, climbing walls, etc... even hiding in boxes or cabinets to peek out for clear. More opportunities to strike from hiding or cover.
Survival lite? It doesn't strike me as a survival game. You are buffing the whole time. Was Indiana Jones and the Great Circle a survival game? Has the same things. lol That's a really lame marketing pitch in an attempt to set itself apart when it has nothing new to offer.
AI is weird. Would see them warp around, collide and glitch with objects, and then animation states flip fast like a tweaker. Seemed cookiecutter at times. I appreciated that it would assess and run away to cover, but seemed a one trick pony. It did appear to flank at times.
Everything everyone is carrying is rusted and in worn state, but the world is literally full of gun oil! And with an anal-retentive, control-freak, blowhard like Sims with everyone sitting around doing nothing, you're going to tell me everyone's gear is in a trashed state and unserviceable? Yeah, right. lol
Travel is on foot. Back and forth pizza delivery missions which becomes a slog and irritant at times even with the Rapid Travel Network.
Traders are barren and near pointless. No rotation of items, hell they barely even restock (do they?).
Bodies can delete themselves quickly if you venture too far away in the map. When you leave a zone and return, everyone respawns to fill the gap.
It seems a lot of justification may have been to lean into realism, yet the whole game plays like a cartoon. lol At least lean into the fun side of gameplay or embrace the absurdity a bit more. Can't slide down a ladder? Or is the realism not respecting the player's time?
The endings are bland and come across as checkboxes to match other games with multiple endings.
Feels like they shoehorned the idea in with little investments in innovation of gameplay. They said they made their money back immediately at launch and it really shows. Small teams and less investments, yet big pricing. Given they were rewarded for the behavior, I doubt it will change and the future may be worse. I got burned on Resistance in pre-order, swore I wouldn't with this one and glad I didn't. I waited over a year for a deep discount and it still feels off on a sale. The Deluxe Edition is a joke. Will move on to check out the DLCs next, but doesn't look good from first hints as it just seems to add a new gimmick areas with a new bland ending. I will never pre-order a game from them again and now I'm moving toward just avoiding their games if this is the new norm.
With a heavy reliance on a bad melee system and very little in the way of fun. Guns intentionally suck, melee cannot be blocked, you have to take hits and ammo is rare with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guns because Britain. Paired with last gen graphics I thought 70% would leave me feeling like this was a good game but I was very wrong. Sadly not an original idea except the terrible melee system, everything else is a poor copy of Fallout, Atomic Hearts and Metro. The trailer to make you buy the game and your first hour given to the game will leave you questioning if you're playing the right game.
