A nuclear disaster has left an area of Britain in tatters. Atomfall, a new survival-action game, will see you explore, scavenge, craft, barter and fight your way through beautifully recreated scenery in search of answers.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 9/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game borrows from many genres and introduces some interesting innovations. The ambition is clear, the graphics are nice, performance is solid. What's missing is being any good at any of them. Combat is basic, and you're rapidly outnumbered in every fight. If you use firearms you finish the fight with fewer resources than you started, if you take damage you do too. It's not sustainable. It's also not avoidable. Stealth is mostly non-existent. You get spotted from a long way off. Realistic but with antagonists roaming the entire map you have to move slowly and carefully the whole time, or get drawn into a resource sapping fight. This means you're also avoiding vast tracts of the map just to avoid getting into fights. A game in which half the map is effectively pointless. The game could be a walking sim with supporting story just by removing the antagonists/combat, and would actually be better as a result. Instead it's pretending to be an open world detective game. Find and pursue clues, talk to people. Except, as discussed, the open world isn't. I've known for most of my game time where I need to go and still haven't got there, because if I tried I'd end up in a succession of fights that'd leave me bereft of resources even if I won them. This might all be excusable if it came together in compelling gameplay anyway. Stealth games can be fun, detective games can be fun, RPGs are fun, open world games are fun. This one isn't. It's boring. That's why this is a negative review. All that effort to build an innovative game with so much promise and the result is boredom.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Atomfall is an excellent horror-adventure with strong environmental storytelling, memorable atmosphere, and a compelling mystery. Its world isn't huge, but it's intelligently designed and encourages exploration rather than checklist completion. The stealth and combat systems are enjoyable but underdeveloped, lacking several mechanics—such as distractions, body concealment, leaning, and richer stealth interactions—that would have made infiltration far more satisfying. As it stands, it's around a 7/10: a game with a clear identity that could have been exceptional with a little more mechanical depth.
Incredibly tedious. Ammo is rare so you'd expect melee to be good but that's just trash with no dodge/block, enemies kill you in a coupld of hits while you do little damage, try to be stealthy and do a 'takedown' and it just alerts nearby enemies anyway and the stealth sucks too. Played 5 hours and found it to be boring, tedious, and a waste of time.
Atomfall is a pretty special game. I played on survivor with most of the assists off; I think the game should be played on this or harder difficulties. Having generalized journal entries (or none) allows you to come up with solutions the quest log would not suggest, and the game accounts for this most of the time. There is a button to check the chamber/magazine of your currently equipped weapon, so I think playing with dropped mags is viable. The crafting/inventory systems are lightweight, but in combination with the difficulty heavily incentivize preparedness and stringent inventory control. The shooting is satisfying and the skill system, while simplistic, is transformative. Moment to moment gameplay reminds me of Stalker and Fallout, though some things are more simulationist (weapon reloading on higher difficulties for example) and others are simplified (inventory system). The conversation trees are fairly simplistic but there can be complicated quest interactions and you can start quests, or "leads" in multiple ways. There are two diegetic fast travel systems: one implemented before the dlcs, and one implemented after. The one implemented before is made wholly redundant by the one implemented after the dlcs, which is faster to use and more convenient as well as connecting to the dlc areas. I would have preferred they just connected the original method to the dlc areas as well. I have a lot of nitpicks relating to the plot and endings. There are many endings to the game and it uses fallout-style ending slides; however, you can do most of the game content before having to choose an ending, and all the endings more or less require you to do the same final area, so it can get pretty samey. None of the endings really offer closure on two of the mysteries in the game either, so it can feel kind of unfulfilling. It's a bit of a letdown after the rest of the game. I love the resource management, the interconnected quest design, and the lethal combat. AI can be simplistic and the game is fairly small in scope, but I had a great time. The plot is derivative, but there's a lot to appreciate. The Red Strain DLC in particular adds a lot of fun skills and content. I just wish the plot was more inventive and the developers were willing to give more information on some of the game's mysteries in the endings. It would also be nice if you didn't have to run the same dungeon for each ending. If you can deal with the lackluster plot and like exploration, I recommend picking the game up and playing on one of the harder difficulties with as many of the assists off as you can stomach; with resource scarcity and punishing combat the game's more unusual systems really shine.
I LOVED this game. It has all the elements which makes me attracted to certain games. Some of the story, characters and setting reminded me of Dishonored and Wolfenstein. Dishonored, because it also feels like a detective wherer you're trying to figure out what and why. Plus, the plague vibes. Wolfenstein, well, mostly because it also set in the past but technologies there are much more advanced. Maybe there are even more aspects as to why these games feel similar but I can't really describe it with words. I love the open world and how it doesn't feel overwhelmingly too big how it usually feels with most games today. I love that it let's me explore every corner of the world and clearly rewards me for my curiosity. I was resolving most of the leads I found and in the end had a huge number of choices with whom to side. Maybe in the future I will replay this game from scratch and just go for certain endings instead of trying to see every possible outcome. For now though, I will probably load one of my last saves and see few other endings.
Atomfall is a huge disappointment for me. Visually it is just okay, definitely not the best but not the worst. It looks much better in the videos. There isn't much depth to the game, the world feels stale, and with very limited exploring. The villages are empty feeling, there are few NPC's, most are a bit annoying. The open world really isn't that open, it's boring, and the map system is horrible! You travel between small maps, it’s impossible to know where you’ve been to already vs where you need to discover next. There isn't much else to do besides pursue your leads. The skill tree is pathetic. There isn't any real impact on your skills, so leveling up isn't really there. There's very little loot to scavenge which I guess is a good thing because you have a tiny backpack, it holds hardly anything. WHY? Another poor design choice from the devs. You can't sell your stuff to a trader, you have to barter or trade it. It's really a one-sided system benefiting the trader. The controls are frustratingly asinine! Good tight controls are a must for any game and these are clunky and make you waste time causing you damage. You can't have the flashlight on and carry a weapon, who's freaking stupid idea was that? I overpaid for this and there is nothing about this game that makes me want to continue playing it. What I've learned is that Rebellion is one of my least favorite developers, probably won't be purchasing another one of their games unless it's in a bundle. Not recommended
Atomfall lets its mystery unravel no matter where you wander and no matter what NPC you kill. I love that type of gaming freedom and it is baked into Atomfall's DNA. Turning off the waypoint system, like the game suggests, is a must and IMHO it made the game better; even if I had to unlearn years of reliance on those systems from other titles. The setting itself feels very quirky, very British. I really appreciate the Druids and their territories leaning into the Folk-Horror look; like the original The Wickerman movie from the 70s. Love that. Final Rating: Refreshing Cuppa.
Even on highest difficulty the game is a snooze fest in my opinion. It is really really boring and the AI is really really dumb. Sadly after 7 hours i couldn't get a refund anymore.
