Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

100% cleared in 50hrs, killing all main story enemies on despair mode except DLC boss and end-game optional boss killed in easy mode, I have played 4 other atelier games before. Atelier Sophie DX is not the best choice for newcomers to the Atelier series. I do not hate the Story and EXP farming . I like the battle preparation in this main game for late game boss which its mechanic are interesting , some need to prepared specific item such as large area ailment clearing and need to removed some healing item that auto activation from its effect . The battle system in the mid-game can be annoyed because of the heavy stat grinding, even if you are playing on Easy mode. Without proper traits on your armor, weapons, and accessories during the early and mid-game, you will struggle to survive many fights. The cauldron crafting is also not very fun. Without a good-effect cauldron, your are lack to create powerful items in the early to mid-game . This makes crafting feel less enjoyable, and you are often stuck using weak items. Upgrading items and duplicating equipment with good traits are key ways to become stronger, but they require a huge amount of gold compared to the amount dropped by monsters. The quests from the café give a decent amount of money, but not enough to make crafting gear for all party members easy. The best way to farm money in the early to mid-game is by defeating Gold Puni on Despair mode for the 10x money reward. The unique upgrading item is great . Later , you will learn that the best way to enhance armor and weapons is to craft six copies of the same item, then use them to upgrade one piece to the highest possible stats, rather than relying only on ingots or cloth materials, which costs a lot of gold. To be fair, this method is mainly required for DLC bosses and optional bosses, which are much stronger than the story bosses. Without using it, you can still clear the main story on Despair mode without much trouble. I like how transferring traits can be made easily when you understand how many ways possible to loop the synthesis item. I use a lot of throwable damage item in Sophie compare to other game Great game for Atelier player
調合システムが結構複雑で慣れるのに時間がかかりましたが理解すると組み合わせなど自分でできるようになるのでいいですね ストーリーはあっさりしていましたがキャラが可愛いので良し
Absolutely great game and my favorite out of the Atelier Series I played so far (Arland and Secret series). The alchemy here is the best from the series as well and Sophie is a great protagonist. Obviously being a older game shows from some UI and game design but still a great game to recommend for fans who are starting this series. Would definitely play Sophie 2 as well.
Sophie is best girl in alterlier seriez for me it. great it have the best alchemist system in every alterlier game I plays. even it a old game it still good recommended.
