I think Dusk is peak Atelier for me. I know this particular style of Atelier, with the time management aspect, will never return, so nowadays I appreciate and love the entries like Sophie 2 and Resleriana as they are the next best thing. But there's something about the Ateliers from this era here that nothing else provides, for me. Escha & Logy DX is a beautiful game that aged gracefully, I really like the characters models and textures, really pretty and expressive. The scenery is simple but passable. The synthesis system is considerably better than Ayesha's (though in part simply due to the English translation of the system not being a mess like Ayesha's was), and the combat is mostly the same, with the addition of items having a nice auto-refill since the start of the game, and better use of the whole party with the support row.
A great follow-up to Atelier Ayesha! The synthesis system is even more involved and the two alchemists being there means that a barrage of items and things you can use in combat follows! Especially considering the double draw mechanic! Big numbers! Cast is nice, music is nice! Surprisingly interesting optional boss fights and dungeons. Would recommend!

True happiness can only be achieved by using government capital to fund your sweets addiction. Probably the best Atelier game in part because the dual protagonists are both interesting and have a great dynamic. The monthly system was weird at first but grew on me over time. The map is pretty weak compared to earlier Atelier games but works well enough within the time system.
Definitely better than Ayesha, with multiple QOL stuff added, like having all consumable items replenish when you get back to Colseit, and you aren't forced to defeat every super boss to get every achievement. Also, Willbell is back, and she is the BEST character from Ayesha, and you can't convince me otherwise.
Just like with most Ateliers, E&L is a laid-back jrpg with a focus on crafting and gathering. It has a strong "autumn" feel to it, with muted colors and pensive overall mood, but even in this bleak setting you end up chilling with the characteres and appreciating the beauty of their world and life. The fun cast is balanced well both combat-wise and screentime-wise, allowing you to play around with many party options. Alongside great artstyle, good ost and engaging gameplay loop, this is a great game if you just want to emotionally unwind
