For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm sorry but this is trash, there are so many things wrong I don't even know where to begin. As the others have pointed out, you start as this bratty protagonist, and I honestly didn't mind it at first. That's fine, because surely you'll get some options to redeem yourself and undergo some character developement, right? Riiight..? No. You're stuck having to roleplay as this personality while the game gives you an illusion of choice. You talk to the characters and ocassionally the game will give you an option to select your next line. And what are the options? Instead of the usual nice, neutral, mean, you usually get less mean, mean and more mean. The protagonist makes most of the decisions and you just have to deal with it. You don't want to lie? Well you have to, you just get to choose which lie sounds the least stupid. You don't want to steal stuff or alter the potions with some weird ingredients you just picked up in front of the house (even though you didn't even want to)? The protagonist will do it anyway even if you click the options that seemingly would prevent it, and then the game gives you "well, maybe that wasn't a good idea after all". Yeah, no ♥♥♥♥. The protagonist constantly wants to leave the place and doesn't want to do the work and the game makes sure to let you know that constantly. It literally felt like I'm fighting against this protagonist. The other characters are weird, some are okay but some just act off? There's one guy who doesn't trust magic but will still order the stuff from you and write you serious letters how he thinks you can help, and then you try to give him the order and he's condensending to you. I mean do you want your incense or not? Jesus. The whole magical theme is so poorly done, maybe it was just me but I kind of expected the magic to be like a slight push you can give to people (especially that you quickly learn they all have their problems and insecurities) and then it becomes a story about their personal developement and growth, while you help them sort out the problems with your powers. It honestly felt as if the first few in-game days are trying to establish just that. But no, not really, your little potions and oils will completely shift their personalities or just push them in bad directions like they're mindless puppets with no mind of their own. For example, most of the characters are overworking themselves for the town's festival, instead of helping them to relax you basically push a women to overwork herself so that she doesn't sleep and gets sick. A person is socially awkward and worried about attending a party, and your potion makes them a cringe attention-seeker for a day (they're later overwhelmed by that too). One guy is worried about his clumsiness and inability to focus when overstimulated, and what does the protagonist do? Curses him. Great. The final straw was how the game ended for me. The protagonist does anything to get to leave the town earlier, I didn't know what to click to prevent it because the "options" are along the lines of "lets just get this stuff over with" "I'll finaly have more time for my own experiments", just selfish stuff like that that doesn't seem to lead to the outcome I'd want. I do all the work despite the snarky remarks, make the potions every day, deliver all of them everyday, talk to all the townfolks everyday, while constantly feeling like I'm at war with the protagonist who wants to leave.. just for the game to end just like that because the protagonist decides to do a ritual that "would solve everything" a week before the festival, it fails, everyone attacks me and I get kicked out of town. The end. "Next time take your responsibilies more seriously" - that was literally the end game screen. I'm screaming. This has to be a ragebait. By the way, the game is full of typos, the more you progress the more typos there is in the dialogues. This really tells you how much attention to the details they put into this game. The artstyle is really cute, but most backgrounds are absolutely bland, I'd expect more from a game that doesn't even have that many different scenes and everything is recycled every in-game day anyway. Please don't ever buy this at full price. Even on 90% discount it's probably not worth it, but the full price is actually outrageous.

BACKGROUND: When I first saw this game, the artwork and demo reeled me in hook line and sinker! Then I played the game... APPEALS: Witchy Life Story is a visual novel style game where you play as an apprentice witch living in a small town. The artwork is bright, colourful and absolutely gorgeous, the background music is nice, and it has a cute character customization feature that isn't overwhelming. Dialogue is also displayed on screen for accessibility. The game mechanics are simple and easy to understand. CONCERNS ABOUT THE GAME: While the game mechanics are simple and easy to understand, it quickly becomes repetitive and unchallenging. You find yourself doing the exact same tasks over and over again from the beginning of the game until the end. This is a huge issue for me because there is actually only one game mechanic, so I find myself losing interest in the game very quickly (and hey, I promise that I'm a patient person!) Eg - In this game, you work across several days. I, being a patient person, lost interest by Day 6. To make it worse, the last few days of the game don't have any game content and rightly should/could have been cut out. The characters are not well written. While I find great potential with the characters, they're not well adjusted. For example - you could spend time getting close to one NPC, their dialogue would be favourable to you, then in the next instance, after a minor inconvenience, they're really hostile to you. Other than this, the dialogue quickly becomes flat. I didn't find any witty humour/writing or refreshing feel. In fact, with some NPCs, I admittedly became quite irritated. Apart from the badly written NPCs, YOUR character isn't well written too. You play as a teenager but the dialogue is verbose and irritatingly bratty. I know teenagers can be bratty and I expected some spitfire dialogue, but your character is just irritating and unrelatable without reason/cause. Your dialogue options are rude/sassy (in a bad way) without reason and none of the NPCs take it well. Your character also has very little growth. Without spoiling too much, your character does get a
redemption arc kind of moment and I can see the potential in it. At first, the redemption is okay-ish written, but then it goes right back to the old irritating/unrelatable character dialogue
. So at the end, I felt like I achieved nothing in the game. Dialogue is skippable, but you have to keep pressing the skip button all the time and that also quickly became irritating. Gameplay was not seamless - I came across 3 visual bugs at different times. It was all overlapping UIs. Game story was sloppy. You play this super bratty character with bad, largely rude dialogue, but have the option to romance some NPCs, but then you're rude to them too because there isn't any dialogue progression based on how close you become to the NPCs. The NPCs don't react well to your dialogue options (apart from the romance ones) but when you end the game, you're all best friends? Look I get it, its just a game, but if you're developing a game like this, then there needs to be more effort into the dialogue and functionality of the characters. It doesn't have to be in-real-world realistic, but this is just absurd. The game auto-saves frequently so there is no manual save function. Normally for a game like this, I would have put this as a benefit, but looking at the achievements, this is a huge pain for achievement hunters. If you don't go into your game files and manually copy/paste your save files to get different endings, it will take you 6 playthroughs to get all the achievements which is just absolutely unreasonable for any game. (PS - If you finesse your save files, you will get more visual bugs). In light of all the above concerns, the cost of the game is questionable. I love Devs. I love this games Devs too. I strongly believe that Devs should be paid fairly for all the hard work they put into their games, but as a consumer, the price for this game is way too steep. I personally don't think the game content is worth the price. CONCLUSION: Look... this game has GREAT potential and while I've had some fun with this game, I really can't recommend it in good faith. You're welcome to try it, and if you decide to then I can only recommend that you grab it when its on sale.
I thought this was cute. The negative reviews spooked me at first (and it is a VERY short game-I finished the first playthrough in three hours so buy on sale) but then I realized they were just making bad choices. I ended my game with a success and a job offer, and found the entire thing cute. My character might have been a little bit sassy, but I didn't consider her mean at all, and the character growth is noticeable. TLDR; Cute short game, buy on sale, choices influence the story
It is a really cozy game with beautiful art and a warm autumn atmosphere that made me feel like I was living in a magical little village. 🍂🪻✨ At the beginning of the game, you can customize your own witch and get to know all of the charming villagers. You also have your adorable companion, Ramsey the crow. The gameplay is very relaxing. You spend your days growing herbs, crafting potions, reading tarot cards, performing little rituals, and helping the townspeople with their problems. It's more of a visual novel than a life sim, so expect lots of dialogue and story with some light crafting and gardening instead of deep gameplay. What I liked most was how cozy and stress free everything felt. The characters were interesting, the magical tasks were cute, and I always looked forward to seeing what the next day would bring. The biggest downside for me was that the gameplay became repetitive after a while. Most of the time you're reading conversations and completing similar crafting tasks, so if you're expecting an open world or complex farming mechanics, you might be disappointed. I also wished my choices had a bigger impact on the story and that there were more activities to do each day. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with Witchy Life Story. If you love cozy visual novels, adorable witches, beautiful art, and relaxing storytelling, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
I got this game in bundle so it was bascially free, but I just saw the 20€ price tag and therefore I really can't recommend it. It feels really repetitive and get's boring easily. Every day is basically the same and I was happy when I was done with the game. The dialogue choices were most of the time really childish or bratty and the character was unlikable in general. Hower, the art style is pretty and I liked that I was able to create my own character design, but I was expecting a little bit more from the game loop. If you like this kind of game get it on sale, but the full price is not worth it!
I would give this game a solid 2.5/5 stars. I did enjoy the gameplay for the most part, but it takes up such a small portion of the actual game's content; there's an 'endless gameplay' mode, but it doesn't unlock until you clear the game. As other people have stated, your character is nothing more than a bratty teenager, with little to no growth throughout the story. You get locked in to choose only negative/rude answers for many of the dialogue options, even as your friendships/relationships with the characters have supposedly improved. The story does have its cute or funny moments, but I found myself growing bored with it, and ended up skipping through almost all of it. The last few days of the game are pointless, as there is zero gameplay or story; they could have been cut entirely and it wouldn't have mattered. I usually love visual novels. and this game looked like it had such a good concept when I bought it. I had such high hopes for it, but I was honestly disappointed. Personally, I don't think there's any value in playing through the story again unless you want to get all the achievements. I would only recommend buying it if it were on sale.
Wanted to enjoy this game, as I was very intrigued by the cute visuals and character customization but the actual gameplay fell flat. The character's storylines get monotonous and I think it would've been much better paced as a week long event rather than two. The last couple days are just filler as anyone you talk to hits you with the "busy now come back later". I tried inviting my romanced character to the festival and it says I don't know them well enough despite choosing every romance option. I assume this is due to not giving them the antique item, in fact I didn't give anyone the items I bought because I was never prompted to despite trying. Due to not gifting any of the items out all of my previous relationship options were pretty unimportant and I got the bad ending. The entire last day was bugged out with a "Talk To Jonas" bar covering the screen. Cute art, loved the character customization, but I do not want to be spam clicking through filler dialogue. Needs work. edit: and its $20??? absolutely not, 9.99 is generous. if you feel like giving this game a try please save your money for a sale.
Witchy Life Story fell short for me. It has so many things I know I love, but the characters are basic and forgettable and the mechanics are boring. I liked the art, character customization, and having the freedom to choose where I wanted to go on the map, but outside of that... it was underwhelming. For a game that checked so many of my boxes on paper, it fell short on execution.
3/5 stars Overall It wasn't bad but it was misleading. Its a visual novel with one game mechanic. I'm glad I got this when it went on sale because I think at full price it is not worth it. Pros- Beautiful Artwork! Cons- So much dialogue with few options to actually make a choice. Tarot. You have it in the game and use it once. There is nothing else to it...Which is a shame because that would of been a fun add on!! Gardening- I wanted more from this area Runes. Mention once and never again The story has a solid foundation and I wanted more!
Was really excited to finally get around to playing this but got stuck in a bug loop on the second day. I can't progress the game and the dev seems like they're no longer supporting it. Discussion pages show loads of bugs unfixed. Unfortunately for that reason I can't recommend it.
