A mysterious story of a mysterious dream ... This is a story about one of the adventures Sophie the Alchemist had after she left her hometown of Kirchen Bell.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.33/day in the week after.

Legitimate perfect score for me.
"Un nuevo comienzo en un nuevo isekai, pero la única habilidad súperrota de la prota es ser demasiado linda".
Sophie 2 was very fun and a very pretty game. I would have preferred if there were more available clothing options to choose from for the main cast of characters.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sophie 2 is the gold standard Atelier games should strive to be. It's only real flaw is that there is a bit to much of " Find issue > Go to the Atelier > make item > continue exploring" here. It's present in other games, but most of them either had these events happen at set intervals, like when you explore a ruin in ryza 2, or you had the Atelier accesible from the overworld map, making the issue feel less prevelant, even if these games had fast travel since Shallie. Aside from that, there really is nothing that annoys me in the slightest in this game. The cast is fun, and their designs are top notch. Synthesis here is probably at its best in the series. There is just the right amount of difficulty and control to make it fun. Side abbilities from partners are back, a feature we haven't seen since Mana Khemia 2, and that is fun. The story too is great here. It's a bit predictable, but that doesn't really matter. Honestly, if it weren't for the fact that the game is a sequel, I'd say Sophie 2 is the best entry point into the Atelier franchice. There are a few games I'd say are better, but Sophie 2 is an easier game to get into. The game is also really fun to complete. The fact the encyclopedia is finally fully listed and scrollable is a gimmick I've been waiting for to return after only Iris 2 had it. All in all, a must play for any fan of the mysterious series, and a great game to start your chance with Atelier with. (Just be aware that there will be a few spoilers her for Sophie 1) 9/10
