Walked into a tavern, got called out as a welshman. Started a barfight. Peak gameplay.

I thought I heard the Old Man say: "Leave her, Johnny, leave her." Tomorrow you will get your pay, and it's time for us to leave her.
Mucho divertido el drunkin sailor
RE快发售了才想起没给黑旗一个好评 黑旗在我心目中和当时玩的第一款:刺客信条2有着同等地位 总而言之就是很好玩
After investing nearly 600 hours in the Caribbean waters of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, I can unequivocally say this is one of the most captivating and rewarding experiences in the franchise. This game transcends the typical action-adventure formula by seamlessly blending piracy, naval exploration, and historical fiction into an unforgettable journey that keeps you coming back for "just one more mission." The standout feature that truly sets Black Flag apart is its revolutionary naval battle system. The ship-to-ship combat is exhilarating and intuitive—maneuvering your vessel, the Jackdaw, feels responsive and satisfying. Whether you're engaging in intense broadside exchanges with British warships or hunting legendary sea creatures, every naval encounter feels consequential and thrilling. The progression system for upgrading your ship provides meaningful goals that extend well beyond the main campaign, encouraging exploration and engagement with the open world. Immersive World Design The Caribbean setting is gorgeously realized, with multiple islands to explore, each brimming with activities, collectibles, and secrets. The freedom to approach objectives from multiple angles—whether through stealth, direct combat, or creative problem-solving—gives players genuine agency in how they experience the story. One of the most delightful surprises is the sea shanties. These aren't mere background music; they're cultural artifacts that add authentic flavor to the pirate fantasy. Hearing your crew break into song during downtime creates an emotional connection to your crew and reinforces the camaraderie that makes Edward Kenway's journey so compelling. It's a small detail that demonstrates the developers' commitment to immersion. At its current price point, Black Flag offers extraordinary value. With a substantial main campaign, dozens of side quests, naval contracts, treasure hunts, and collectibles, you're looking at 100+ hours of quality content. The replayability factor is high thanks to the open-world design and multiple approaches to objectives. Few games offer this much content and entertainment per dollar spent. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is a masterclass in open-world design and adventure gaming. It successfully balances narrative depth with gameplay variety, creating an experience that respects the player's time and investment. While the tailing missions are a minor blemish, they're easily overlooked given the excellence surrounding them. Rating: 9/10 This is a game that deserves a place in any serious gamer's library. Whether you're seeking thrilling naval combat, an engaging story, or simply the fantasy of commanding your own pirate ship, Black Flag delivers on all fronts. After nearly 600 hours, I'm still discovering new reasons to return to the Caribbean.
Black Flag is still one of the best pirate games ever made. Unfortunately, the PC version has aged like milk. No native ultrawide support. Console-era FPS locks. Basic PC features that should've been patched years ago are still missing. "Just use mods," people say. Yeah... about that. The mods that fix ultrawide support and framerate limitations can completely break the game. Suddenly your inputs stop responding, scripted events refuse to trigger, and progression grinds to a halt. In my case, the very first assassination attempt on Edward never happened, leaving me stuck watching guards stare into space while the game waited for an event that would never fire. So you're left choosing between: Playing a compromised version with black bars and arbitrary FPS limits. Playing a "fixed" version that might not even let you finish the tutorial. It's hard to recommend a game that requires community patches just to feel like a proper PC release, only for those same patches to introduce game-breaking bugs. Black Flag deserves better. The game itself is fantastic. This port isn't.
