Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Properly my favourite Assassins Creed game

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Complete region story, raid, get all wealth and mysteries then repeat. Note: played this game before in 2024 in my old PC and game kept crashing so I got a new one expecting this game to be more stable yet it still randomly crashes. Besides that I recommend the game if you like doing the same quests over and over again to 100% the game.
I had first played ACV a couple of years ago for maybe less than 12 hours before putting it aside. I didn't dislike it necessarily, but was uninterested enough to put a bookmark in it for a later date. I restarted the game from the beginning, and had a way different reaction to it. I appreciated how wonderful it looked, and decided to "force" myself to push it further than I had the last time. It turns out no forcing was needed, the game opened up way more than I thought it would on my original go, and I'm fully invested now. The standard criticisms of the game you'll read here are fair, for the most part. This is the only AC game I've spent a great deal of time with, so I can't compare it to others in the series. There is a LOT to do in-game. For some, this is a grind. For me? I'm liking it a lot. I didn't like the repetitive deliveries of Death Stranding, and I absolutely despised the cut and paste repetition of tasks you get in a hot mess like Starfield. In Valhalla? Every single Viking raid is an absolute blast. Get in, kill, steal, then sing songs in the longboat on the way out. Brilliant. I rarely have Eivor engage in stealth, which may tweak some AC purists, but honestly the best approach I found for this game is just to build up Eivor's strength so he can handle each level of threat, and then march him right through the front gates and let him Vikingr it out. I assume this will have an effect on the outcome of the storyline. I don't care. It's fun. I have a very strong PC set up now, so I can really open up the graphics. The game is beautiful, but glitches and crashes still happen during a long session. Not a big deal. The views are stunning, and if you're a history nerd like me, walking around post-Londinium "Lunden", and early settlements like "Jorvik" (York) and others makes it extra special and fascinating. I'm very glad I picked it up again. I don't know where it would land on my all time list, but I have no "mixed" opinions on it. It *may* be a top 10 game for me, but I still have a ways to go before finishing it off. If you like to grind, collect, and creatively slaughter your enemies, Valhalla is a solid choice. If you're bored easily, maybe not. I'm squarely in the grind category. If I like the world in a game, I'll ride it out as fully as I can. The story is captivating enough to keep interest in between the pillaging. On sale this is a bargain for hours of entertainment if you vibe with open world grinding. Recommended.
