I usually say more in my reviews, but i will say this: Valhalla is like taking a constipation crap. it's incredibly long, incredibly painful, and everything that suggests some interesting progression ends up being a let down. also i came here to be a viking, not to save the world from whatever the hell layla is dealing with. I never even finished the game, i gave up mid ♥♥♥♥ you could say, fortunately, unlike real life, i would only end up in the emergency room if i continued trying to play a game which ubisoft decided to make long more than anything else, none of the characters are memorable or funny in ways that stuck with me, i dislike the voice acting (personal opinion) the colony building is bullsh*t, the character customization is bullsh*t (all that hair and no end to the really over the top undercut in sight) and the only thing i can say that i liked about the game is the boats (i really like boats) and that Kessandra was in it, because it felt nice that a character with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soul was there atleast. i have said my piece, don't let ubisoft go a-viking on your wallet, not worth it.
I enjoy the setting, and the viking-vibes, the voice acting is fine, the story is okay as well, but it's a bloated mess and takes forever to complete. I loved the Ireland DLC because that campaign was very manageable and not as bloated as the base game. I hate that they throttle your progression via your rank to clear the zones on the map.
Not bad
The game itself is fun, but has some serious issues, even 4 years after release. Crashes very often, and there's a known bug in the Hampshire storyline where one of the main quests fails to trigger.
