Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

It was nice to see AC3 again but it's a poor remaster where everyone looks like they're made out of wax and all the glitches are still there. My favorite was during the Valley Forge stealth mission in Tyranny of King Washington one of the checkpoints starts you off already detected by a firing squad, causing you to fail the mission right away. So your only recourse is to restart the mission if you get detected past that point.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.14/day in the week to Aug 11 → 8.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A remaster so lazy only ubisoft is capable of doing it. Additionally, if you bought this game using the bundle from AC Odyssey, you gotta download and install Odyssey first before you can verify the ownership of this game because that's just common sense from Ubisoft.
Age has not been kind to Assassin's Creed 3, though the backlash the remaster is getting is out of hand. There's the usual fluff regarding the main game: you will get intensely frustrated at the amount of tailing missions, lack of places to parkour on and a surprisingly shallow main character. The very hard optional objectives will keep taunting you for missing them, even when they're insanely difficult and practically impossible to get on the first go. For some obnoxious reason, they went with a world map that has no location names whatsoever and the slowest horse you can get. Enemy AI is really unforgiving and many missions will insta-fail you. It's not changed. However I'll have to give it a thumbs up for the excellent worldbuilding and characters, including a great conclusion to Desmond's journey. Having replayed all the Ezio games back to back just before this and having preordered the Uplay (exclusive, back in the day) version of this on release day, it still is a disappointing sequel but a great Assassin's Creed story. Especially love the very random modern day segments, the skyscraper, MMA match and a visit to Abstergo. Don't sleep on the Homestead missions! Like all side content in this game, they are for some reason very sidelined and off the beaten path - but they contain so much more character and lore content for you. This game has the weirdest way of hiding actual content from you as much as possible. Having AC3: Liberation remastered here is great. There's a folder in the game files which has a lot of exclusive bonus content, too. Overall I'd say it's a faithful remaster in the way that the game itself hasn't much changed (that godawful Lee chase is still there, unchanged) but the remastered lighting is very nice and it all runs at (locked) 60 FPS. I'd give it a middle thumb but since I appreciate the value here, I'll give it a thumbs up. Haytham is still one of the best written AC characters. Onwards to Black Flag Resynced!
Played the original version back when it came out in 2012. Picked up the remaster on steam to relive that same feeling again. A very good game with a solid protagonist; Connor. In my opinion, this AC has the best and coolest combat out of all AC's... even to this day. The only thing that i kinda forgot about, was how insanely long the prologue is. Literally 5 out of the 12 sequences, you play as Haytham and as Young Connor. That burned me a bit. Didnt realise that half the game is a tutorial. But from the moment you play as adult Connor with his Assassin robes on, the game becomes so much better and a lot more fun to play.
