Midnight Ghost Hunt

Sad this game died, it didn't deserve it. Such a fire concept and execution just to be left behind by the fans.

This game is criminally underrated. The mechanics, the spooky,yet,silly atmosphere, and the gadget loadouts are so incredibly well-polished. Playing with a coordinated squad makes you feel like an actual Ghostbuster, and playing as a ghost lets you unleash absolute telekinetic chaos. While the active player base is on the smaller side right now, the core loop is brilliant. If you're on the fence, grab a 4 pack with your friends during a sale. Games like this deserve a thriving community!

Funny hide and seek game with polish accents and great songs. Bots are great too.

This game is AWESOME. It's prop hunt but so much more. You have unique abilities and ways to mess with the hunters and escape as a props and ways to find and corner props as hunters. The game has an extremely small player base and is essentially dead. But the game handles this in such a perfect way, you'll barely even notice. Of course, getting 2-3 friends to join you in a party and play with bots in a public match works pretty well and is a great time, but if you're by yourself, you don't really need to worry either. People can fill bot slots at any time, so just start up a game and you'll have actual people in there in no time. In all my sessions so far, it has taken at most 1 game before at least one real person joined. But in most of my games, I've had the entire lobby filled with actual people in about 2-3 games. Yes, you can tell the game is kinda dead, but in a way I kinda like it. Having this small community of less than 100 players means you get to know these people and the people who are here have been pretty welcoming thus far. My only precaution I'd give you is you'll need to get good at the game's mechanics quick since the people who ARE still here are veterans and you'll need to keep up. But don't worry, it's really not that hard. It took me a few days, but I've been managing to stand my ground and win about 50% of the time. Additionally, the game is surprisingly well balanced. I have never really found myself winning more as hunter or as ghost. I've managed to keep my win ratio on both essentially 1:1. It's fun, it's an amazing gameplay loop, and if you get some friends on you'll definitely have a blast. I've played a lot of different prop hunts. Goat Simulator 3's, Garry's Mod, Teardown, etc, but this one has done just such a fantastic job. It's truly amazing to see. Oh, and there's lots of cosmetics and skins to buy, but here's the best part! You don't have to spend hours grinding or money to get them! The lowest amount of shards you'll get per match is about 250, but you get even more by completely special objectives, killing opponents, reviving, etc. So you'll usually find yourself getting about 500-1.500 per match. I got every single piece of equipment and every ghost ability in just 2 days. This game looks incredible, it feels incredible, the sound design is awesome, and you can really customize how you play. I highly recommend giving this one a shot.

Good game 9/10 but 0/10 player count.

PROS - Creative and unique asymmetrical PvP gameplay. - Hilarious moments, especially with friends. - Fun role reversal mechanic at midnight. - Both Ghosts and Hunters have enjoyable playstyles. CONS - Server performance can be inconsistent and laggy. - Low player count leads to long matchmaking times. - Difficult to enjoy fully without an active player base. VERDICT Midnight Ghost Hunt has all the ingredients of a great asymmetrical multiplayer game. The gameplay is creative, chaotic, and genuinely entertaining, especially with friends. Sadly, technical issues and a shrinking player base hold it back. It's one of those games that deserved a much larger community because the core gameplay is far better than its current popularity suggests. 3/5

If you want a game that is not so scary and If you like ghosts or ghost hunting AND if you like hide and seek TO THE DETH !AND! if you love to play with friends then this is your game. It is worth the money in my opinion.
