Assassin’s Creed 2 (2009) — тот самый сиквел, который превратил серию в культовую. После полного прохождения особенно ясно, насколько тут вырос масштаб и проработка деталей: Италия эпохи Возрождения ощущается живой, а прогулки по Флоренции и Венеции сами по себе становятся приключением — каждый собор хочется забраться, чтобы сделать «прыжок веры». История Эцио — сердце игры: мы видим его путь от юноши, движимого местью, до зрелого ассасина, который понимает цену своих решений. Эта трансформация подана искренне, а финал с Яблоком Эдема и намёками на глобальный заговор здорово связывает эпоху Ренессанса с линией Дезмонда — история будто обретает больший вес. Геймплей стал заметно гибче: паркур плавнее, боёвка разнообразнее за счёт новых приёмов, а вспомогательные отряды (воры, куртизанки, наёмники) добавляют тактических вариантов. Миссии тоже разнообразили — помимо классических убийств тут есть погони, кражи и головоломки с кодексом; коллекционные предметы (перья, страницы) мотивируют изучать города. Из минусов — кое‑где всё ещё проглядывает однообразие задач, а ИИ противников не всегда ведёт себя логично. Да и к концу отдельные эпизоды ощущаются как растянутые. Тем не менее Assassin’s Creed 2 — это эталон того, как должен выглядеть сильный сиквел: он сохраняет дух оригинала, но делает каждый элемент лучше. Обязателен к прохождению для всех, кто ценит сюжетные приключения и историческую атмосферу.

Let's talk about Assassin's Creed 2, I finished the game a few years ago on Xbox 360 and on another Steam account where I completed it 100%, but now I couldn't, only 97-98% because the rest of the content was included in the DLCs, but it can no longer be activated because Ubisoft shut down the servers. (very sad) Compared to its predecessor Assassin's Creed 1, it has a lot of improvements: -now you have a money system where you can buy weapons, costumes, heal, maps for collectibles -you can hire groups of thieves/women to distract enemies -now you have Uncle Mario's villa where you can upgrade it to the maximum and it produces money -you have more side activities compared to the first game such as the new assassination contracts -the parkour has new improvements and is much more fluent than the first game, you are much faster then Altair -the map has more details and you have new regions being in Italy this time The only thing I hated about this game was collecting all the chests in the game where there are 330 chests in total and you don't need to take them because in the time it takes to do the whole map, Mario's villa will produce money for you, in a while more than you will need. Ok, let's move on to the story. Assassin's Creed fans know that the AC Ezio Triology series has the best story, and the best one is from AC 2. The story in this game shows you what the true meaning of the Brotherhood is. Ezio loses his family, then tries to avenge his family, and through this he meets a lot of famous names with whom he starts working together, where at the end he finds out that in fact they were all assassins of the brotherhood and they officially accept him because throughout the game he proves to be worthy of this rank and thus becomes an official assassin. Through all the situations that Ezio will go through, the game becomes more and more interesting and makes you want to play more and more! Assassin's Creed 2 will always be in the hearts of all AC players. I can't wait to play Brotherhood and Revelations. It's 2026 and AC 2 is still proving to be a very good game and those who haven't played it deserve to give it a try especially if they have played games in this series.
