Assassin’s Creed III: Is a good game, but I would mostly recommend it on sale now because the remaster exists. The game has a strong setting during the American Revolution, and I liked how it mixes real history with the Assassin’s Creed story. The world has a lot to do, including Boston, New York, the Frontier, hunting, naval missions, and the Homestead. The combat is also fun, and Connor’s weapons like the tomahawk, bow, rope dart, and hidden blades make him feel different from Ezio. Connor does take some getting used to. He is not the most charismatic main character, especially compared to Ezio, but I still liked his story and what he was fighting for. The music, setting, and characters help carry the game, even when the pacing slows down. My biggest issue is that some parts are boring or repetitive. The gameplay loop is fun overall, but the game can drag in places. Going for 100% completion was also fun at times, but definitely grindy. Some of the Homestead and settlement-related achievements felt like they took much longer than they needed to. I would recommend Assassin’s Creed III to fans of the series, story players, casual players, and achievement hunters who are ready for a grind. It is not my favourite Assassin’s Creed game, but it is still worth playing, especially if you enjoy the older style of the series.

I should have known better than to buy Ubicrap. I never experience headaches and I feel one coming on now. Physically UNPLAYABLE! ONLY BUY if you play this game during the daytime in a well lit room. ... That rules out 99.9% of all people. I played it for 1 hour and I already have headaches for all the transitions between cutscenes. They are white. Not just white but WHITE!!! and I have 49 inch, 0.4 m2 of pixels shooting white light at me a couple of times a minute. See you cannot just normally talk to a character in game. There is an animation/cutscene for everything. The loading time is already annoying but the white screen is just physically bad for your health. You walk on a ship. Talk to 6 people in 2 minutes and be flashed with the brightest white 12 times.
Its alright but ubisoft likes to take dumps on things they shouldnt >.>
If you play AC3 for the main story, the side assassinations, and the occasional sea battle, it’s a solid 8/10. But if you are a completionist who suffers from the sickness of needing to clear the map... may God have mercy on your soul. The clean-up takes way longer than it has any right to and thoroughly burns you out by the end.
Horrible flickering and texture distortion that don't allow you to play comfortable at the very least (and is very dangerous because it can cause seizures). Which I believe also was a case on my 11 years old laptop. So they still haven't fixed it.
