I wasn't expecting much when i bought this game really. But wow can i say my expectations where blown out of the water. I bought this game why it was on sale on a whim. And must i say this was an exceptional Vn Honestly i would have even probably played this without the nsfw stuff but that definitely is the drawing in and selling point for this kind of games and there much of what you would expect in this game when it comes to nsfw stuff. But there where times when i was way more invested in the combat and the story than those points and it felt like they would sometimes just add in Nsfw stuff since it had been awhile since the last one and i would have maybe liked abit more of a build up but i cant fault them for that because at the end of the day this is one of those games and i greatly enjoyed my time with it. ALSO IT WAS WAY LONGER THAN I WAS EXSPECTING IT TO BE which i can appreciate a lot.

Highly recommended for every sci-fi fan looking for story set up in space! Awesome: 1. Visuals are incredible, especially those ship scan graphics, galactic maps, and space animated clips! 2. Lore and setting are awesome, with tiny details like joint 2 main-faction research-station starting to get abandonded before war starts. Also liked inclusion for realistic technological limitations allowing for interesting plot developments! Like being able to track ships via incredilby expensive info-ships. 3. Characters are a high point for this game as well, pretty much everyone is likeable with their quirks and great banter! I especially liked the comedic trio of bridge officers. It's also great that those characters grow overtime, and interact with each other. Could be better: 1. Turn based space combat was good, but not incredibly nuanced/ 2. Artstyle differs along the game progression, much prefer character art done by initial artist for main cast 3. Game looks like designed for so much more, like merc hiring system and so on, feels like scope of the project was much grander 4. [spoiler]Cowgirl arc was weird[/spoiler] 5. Music was mainly opensourced, think a dedicated musician could really make some scenes shine

Surprisingly good space opera with a great production value

Quite a suprise gem of a game - not that regular H visual novel you see Steam flooded these days. First of all, the strongest point of this game is writing followed by good story and world building. Dialogues are written very well, suprisingly deep and characters are likable. You could really tell someone put a lot of work to create well made chemistry between characters and crew. Story and dialogues made me laugh more than 3 dozen times and the jokes/humor is really good (not the usuall shallow tropes). Oh and when you read manga/novels there are often situations where characters are dense for no reason other than crappy story and tropes - here it's complete opposite - characters are smart, smooth, usually open minded and intelligent. For low price, the story is suprisingly long 15 hours + 3-4 hours of skippable combat). The animation while sparse, are nice. Last, but not least, the soundtrack and music selection is very good for story situations and dialogues. There is only one weak point - the devs seems to have very clear fetish for muscles and don't even try to hide it. Still, don't let it distract you from overall good story, the good point clearly outweight (no pun indented) this muscle issue. I'd compare this to Sunrider series: Sunrider has better combat and progression (especially the Sunrider 4), but Ashes of War have much better writing.

Solid length and production quality, as well as above-average moment to moment writing. A fair bit of scuff like a lack of QA on the script and some deeper structual issues that suggest development didn't go 100% to plan, but on the whole an excellent package especially at this price point.

It's a good game that I don't have anything negative to say about, however I couldn't finish it. The amount of text got way to much for me and I started skipping forward and there was just way more game than I thought there would be. Cool art and designs, and I recommend it to anyone that wants to try an adult game with ambitions. However know that you're going to be doing a lot of vissual novel reading with some space combat stuff and a small amount of H content.

Better story than Homeworld 3. Quite an enjoyable space saga VN with some turn-based tactical space battles. The story is a good read with decent length and an interesting plot, and likeable characters too. Pacing is decent, but there are certain plot points dropped towards the end, not anything major, but some backstory related beats don't get resolved, but the main plot resolves nicely. Combat is decent and some missions require some strategy, from hit and run with fighters, kiting and delaying, and bum-rushing a flagship. I would say combat is decent, if not too deep, and some abilities like the tractor beam are useless. Overall, a good game from a small team. Inexperience shows and it certainly could have been expanded, but this was an enjoyable experience. Wish the dev good luck and hope they will do more with the world they created.

very enjoyable porn visual novel and the tile based combat is alway's fun with these space opera horny novels
