Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 18 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I don't write long reviews often and I rarely play horror games (if never) but Amnesia: The Dark Descent was quite a huge surprise for me! This game is a pure gold in terms of atmosphere and effects like when the main hero is shaking or his vision is blurred. The plot is probably the best aspect. That's because the game gradually introduces you to the main story and characters via notes and memories. You're not overwhelmed at all and you even want more! At least that was a case for me. I played in a dark room with no lights and that definitely enriched my game sessions. You really want to be immersed in games like this. I suggest you do the same to get most of it. There are also puzzles but most of them aren't really difficult, so you should be good (I played Silent Hill 2 in the past, so had had a little bit of experience). Play the normal mode, since it's advised by the devs. Oh yeah, the music! For me it's a crucial piece in any game and Amnesia does not disappoint at all. It has a great soundtrack + high quality sound design (play in good headphones, you don't have to own very expensive, mine were very simple but with good quality). The last thing I want to discuss are the monsters. I don't like to be scared and though the game does that, it's not that frightening. You don't have many encounters. I mean it's moderate. What really scares you are sounds, effects, and the story... TL;DR: must play, one of the best story horrors I've played so far, 9/10

The first hour or two are one of the few games that actually made me scared, but then I figured out how the monsters worked and this aspect was lost to me. By the end I just wanted the game to be over.
One of the best games ever.
El mejor juego de terror en cuestión de ambientación que he jugado lo malo es que los puzzles a veces son algo confusos
cant believe this masterpiece is older than me!!
10/10
Its a classic, getting through the game is a fun time. Definitely plays the atmosphere out great and doesnt rely on constant jumpscares and throwing stuff at you constantly to make you feel fear. For achievement people it isnt hard to 100% just play though casually and you will get most achievements, hardcore difficulty isnt really that much harder. and the only achievements that are a grind are getting all the notes and tinderboxes. but there are simple guides you can follow for both of these.
