Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 18 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I always considered original Amnesia to be my one of the favorite horror games ever, but revisiting it 2026 well... It dosent holds up in terms of horror. Most of the horror is very scripted . Monsters are very basic, predictable and can be easily tricked. To the point I had monster dissapear in front of me just before the entrance to the next area. Because I was not supposed to linger that long. (that was really funny) You can just sit in one place wait like a minute and boom le monster is gone. So horror? (I played the recomended way) I forgot it was a horror game. But the athmosphere, psychological themes and mandatory chase moments reminded me that sometimes. Maybe it was tense for its time, but certainly not today. But psychological horror is their biggest strength. And so is sound design. The endings is just pick out of three. Do something, do nothing, do a little bit of bussy work.
(Help Agrippa)
Piecing together the story was interesting. But I can't ignore the impact of original Amnesia on the gaming as a whole. Frictional games made Amnesia walk so everyone else could run. They are the one's who popularized genre "hide-and-seek" of horror. These games still following/echoing what Amnesia did in 2010 even to this day. And dont get me started how everyone found out about it in a first place. It just released at the right time. Im not sure how these games did financially and the player counts is a far cry from modern indie hits of today and even 10 years ago. Yet its undeniable it was something special. And left its impact. Also mods. A beast on its own. Thats why for me its a classic even if its rough around the edges. A pice of Brennenburg will stay with me.

Minha nota: 8,5/10. 👻🕯️🏰
Still scary in 2026, rarely have I ever felt the need to take a break while playing a horror game.
