About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
Feels a lot like the first one, but with expainsions on what was good and fixes for what was bad. Easily one of my favorite sequels. Minor bugs here and there, yes. But nothing major to my knowledge
Pros: new levels are better than 1, you're not just stuck in a hallway or a cave the whole time. Item management has been changed and I love it. You don't have to keep buying dozens of turrets and special ammo; you buy it once and you have it forever. Equip it and you start with 3. Perks seem better, and I love the Veteran Talent. Every class get's a +10% experience 2 slot perk, and they're stackable. Medic reworked in such a way they're actually fun to have around instead of having him do a stim pack circle jerk after every major encounter. Saves! The game autosaves as you run missions and unlike 1, if you d/c or someone crashes, it's not over for the entire team. Rejoining is.... "possible". Cons: There are issues with the autosave and rejoining system. I've been on the end event, have the host d/c, and when I get put on a new host, I'm back at the beginning of the entire mission. It's very hit or miss. DOORS. ♥♥♥♥ THESE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOORS. There are hard lock doors on multiple levels that can cause a player to get stuck when someone ahead of them triggers an event. This also ♥♥♥♥♥ the whole group because even if the stuck player dies and goes into spectator, events will not trigger. Lockups. The prologue is really bad for these, so I get why people are mentioning it so much. I am above recommended specs and the game freezes a half dozen times, ususally during events. Other later levels seem to be much better and it rarely happens. And the most important Con: repetition. It really is the same game (but better) with the same (but better) systems and it costs more. Overall, decent game. Has a couple bugs, but not bad for 1st day launch. If you love the setting, get it.

This game is sick. Great co-op elements keep it fresh. Wish there were more missions tbh. With that said, the replayability lies in the difficulty you set. And passing a certain difficulty relies on the team you have, and the augments your team chooses to either buff the team or nerf the team (to obtain more xp). Overall, positive experience for a non-AAA developer.
I will probably change my review some time later, but here's what I got for now. As of this comment, the game's not really doing anything super innovative or crazy- in fact, it feels more like a Fireteam Elite 1.5 than a full sequel. Sure, there's more aliens and the attachment/perk system is more streamlined, but the game doesn't have a lot of difference with weapons or enemies (but there are a small chunk more, which still is a step in the right direction), it has enemies clipping, there's WAY too many quips, and there's the occasional hitch in framerate. Let's not forget the unskippable cutscenes/dialogue, given to us through characters with sometimes very off-putting facial animations (Here's to you, Wrench). The good things I can say about this game: It's more atmospheric, and it's a step up in difficulty- no longer can you just blast a whole room instantly and not worry about health, there's hordes and hordes of enemies all moving differently, and they're all attacking you with different timing/varieties. Good reason to stay moving, and have some variance in your gear. I'd love to have a more challenging and complex Fireteam Elite once this game gets more polished (we can be hopeful), but for now I'd recommend just playing the first game instead.
i mean its alright, bit buggy because it just released. I also stand with what other reviews say that the game plays like its worth $30 instead of $50
Game of the year
Not as bad as the ratings seemed to suggest. It's the first game but with a lighter, more cheezy action movie coat of paint. The graphics are more plastic-like, but there are more aliens on screen, so maybe it washes out. Animations are janky, but so were they in the first game. Personally, I would've loved to see a more serious tone similar to Alien Isolation or Dark Descent, but again, it's fine for a squad shooter to play with friends. Also, the voice acting and weapon sounds are indeed weak, same with the hit response. Again, just like the first game. Everything seems... fine. It's literally just more of the first game but with a 4th player and more aliens with a lighter tone. The story is... pretty corny (even more so than the first game, which feels like an achievement). I mean, the green acid gas made from alien blood (lol what) that's messing everything up is literally called acidium. The top writers weren't on this one gang. Either be willing to turn off your brain or you're going to have a bad time. I haven't had any technical issues or crashes, but I have a high-end system, so your results may vary. That being said, unless you really, really liked the first game, there's no reason not to wait for a discount. It'll be more polished in a few weeks/months and cheaper too. I'll update as I play more.
Not had any bad performance issues or anything else, runs well, plays well. only frustrating thing is people randomly leave a mission halfway through.
First was good, second builds on it. not perfect but super fun!
VERY VERY GOOD
