Surprisingly fun Alien game if you go in with realistic expectations. (Just remember to fix the Teather code mistake). Overall, 7/10, maybe 8, if it wasn't for some of the story's blowtorch plotholes, where you cut open doors all the time, but the second a PMC locks the door, it somehow gets plot armor, and you can't cut it open. For a game I went in having 0 expectations in 2026, and hearing all of the negatives about weapons and all that, I cannot say I find THAT many negatives. If you can get it for a dollar, like I did on a discount, this game is 100% Worth it and then some. Just make sure to fix the PecanEngine.ini's file's "Teather" mistake in the code to "Tether" (Note: You have to launch the game first for it to create the file in the "My Documents" Folder in C, not in the steam library! If you don't do that, the aliens would be basically stupid and the game will not be hard or scary!). With that code fixed, this game becomes a rollercoaster: Action, horror, vehicle (Power Loader) combat, and more! I recommend it for anyone wanting a unique experience.

Very fun with friends, gameplay was pretty satisfying despite being old and the story's connection to Aliens is pretty cool.

Highly enjoyed this game even though alot of people told me it was a flunk, but game controlls are ok wish the wheel thing was able to pop up on screen without using keyboard as I'm a controller player but graphics are good and story is good characters are cool and some are annoying etc but thats part of the story I spouse. the online stuff unfortunately is dead so never got to experince this but I think you can host your own lobbies as I see a LAN option but hopefully there is a private lobby setting haven't looked properly so not 100% sure, but if there is then this would be cool as you can play as marine or the xenos with more than one style and upgrade your weapons and the skins on the weapons etc and there is alot of achievements so you can go back and play the game over so it has replayability especially if you an achievement hunter and being an older game it seems to be on sale alot so you can get it quite cheap plus if you like me and you love anything from the alien franchise then you should enjoy this. I found the lack of ammo annoying though as it's more an action shoot em up game like doom etc not so much a steath game like isolation etc but 8/10
