Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 17 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Aliens: Colonial Marines trips and stumbles its way into a fun multiplayer mode, however, there’s a feeling this was an accident more than anything else.
My willingness to defend Aliens: Colonial Marines goes only so far. I generally don’t look for hills to die on, and while I love the fact Randy Pitchford burned up to $15M of his own money on the game, I still had to endure the final product. To put it simply: this game is awful, and I need to address the elephant in the room before I go further. Colonial Marines lacks soul, direction and, strangely for the budget, production values. The game’s asset quality is downright horrendous; character models, weapons, turrets, vehicles and textures look like a 360 launch title. Your teammates look long-since dead inside, and the game’s art direction can be summed up with “it’s blue, it’s sci-fi, and it’s running on Unreal Engine 3”. The lighting does what it can to salvage the game’s look, hiding just how blurry the textures are, but this feels like damage control. Colonial Marines’ ultimate aspiration is to remind you a bit of the movies, but to say they look similar is perhaps a step too far. The audio sounds like it’s been taped directly from dying VHS copies of the films. The assault rifle, for instance, has virtually zero bass and sounds like it’s taken from a recording surely no greater than 64kb/s. This is accentuated by the fact that Xenomorphs sponge so many bullets, giving an altogether unsatisfying feeling in combat. The player character, the eponymous Colonial Marine can take a fair beating too, so it’s not like the Xenos feel like unstoppable creatures to fear either. It makes it all the more strange that Aliens: Colonial Marines multiplayer is actually really fun. It still suffers from the problems in the single player - walls are merely a suggestion, for instance, and you will repeatedly clip through the environment. However, the high time-to-kill provides a good bit of balance between both human and alien factions. The campaign is, simply put, a corridor shooter. Yet, the ‘Escape’ game mode somehow flips this into the game’s greatest strength. The mode has a group of four marines slowly etch through a series of linear rooms to the finish line, completing small objectives to open up the next space while being hunted by the aliens. One death as a marine, and you’re out for the game. Meanwhile, the Xenomorphs have the opportunity of unlimited respawns. It’s tense, fun, and while teamwork is required, the levels are so small that simply timing your attack alongside a non-verbal teammate is enough to make decent innings. The game mode brings the intensity of Left 4 Dead, but removes all the elements that insist on removing control from the player in Valve’s title. The individualist inside me wants to give Colonial Marines a positive review, especially since I dumped 30 hours into this fantastic game mode. But, sadly, the game is virtually dead. I’ve seen a few Discord groups set up to keep the multiplayer alive, but I’m not sure how confident newcomers would feel attending these, nor how frequently they meet. Aliens: Colonial Marines is full of glitches, plays like a PS2 movie tie-in and under-delivers on absolutely everything. Still, there goes the best damn multiplayer mode an Alien game ever had.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I've got to say I enjoyed this game a lot, my friend recommended it to me when it was on discount. It's pretty fun when playing with friends, and I guess playing solo is also good. Overall just a solid game.
I ignored this game for years because of all the bad reviews but since I was bored and on a big aliens kick I decided to try it and I'm super glad I did. If you're into linear single player FPS campaigns then do yourself a favor and purchase. Get the ACMO patch, though.
With the AI fix in the config file it's easily one of the best co-op games out there. + Story is decent and faithful to the lore from that era + Plenty of gamemodes + Progression system both for Your character and weapons + Decent customization for both
best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ever
So, while the concept is great; the gameplay is terrible. Buggy level design, frequent crashing, and at this point the game is just horribly dated. Save your money and wait for the next one if you're actually interested. 4/10
Just go play AvP 2010.

Игра описывает события между фильмами Чужие и Чужой 3. В игре есть бесячие баги (например, напарник может просто стоять на месте в каком-нибудь укромном месте, пока игроку приходится отбиваться от огромного полчища ксеноморфов).
Very VERY underrated game! I wish the main servers for online multiplayer were still operating. At any rate, there are LOADS of fun multiplayer game modes, and it is a good shooter game regardless of some of the glitchy AI characters and the lower graphics (hell, not many games these days have regular old LAN connection or co-op modes!). There are also lots of upgrade paths for weapons and skills as well. Highly recommend! Watch for it to go on sale and snap it up!
