AirMech Wastelands

DO NOT BUY The developers have abandoned this game and want to unlink it from the main AirMech servers. The game itself is also not that fun. It can be easily completed in 8 hours, and the story is an absolute snoozefest. A complete waste of £11. Spend your money on the original AirMech or don't spend it anywhere. It's criminal that they're keeping this game up imo.

[!READ END FOR OPINION!] this game feels like it should be a DLC for Airmech instead of its own game. Miner nitpicks: Not a fan of scrap: So instead of just giving you Kudos *the in game currency of all Airmech games* it gives you scrap which is useless because you just convert it to Kudos regardless. No iron hand paint scheme: this is more of a suggestion but in the game there is only one obtainable iron hand airmech skin and its only for bomber despite Striker and Hilex also sporting the paint, it would be cool to get more obtainable iron hand skins or even a full iron hand paint scheme from playing. On foot segments: The game starts with a on foot segment leading you to believe its going to be a major and unique part of the game but it only gets used in the Airmech retrieval missions and nothing else, it feels like wasted potential Big nitpicks: Grinding feels awful: After the level Snow Fall *ruffly half way through the game* the game quickly becomes about grinding as Airmech upgrades get more expensive, also wile Airmech part drops do get better as you play on, scrap output does not increase enough to keep up with the shop. Leveling up your Airmech does not translate to other Airmech games: In the game there are shops ware you can level up your Airmech but despite other things like parts and money both your user level and airmech level are not translated between games. Over all opinions: if you like the tower defense aspect of Airmech and don't mind the grind or you want a campaign mode mode then i recommend, but if you hate the grind and prefer the more traditional verses game mode *like me* i advise you watch a walk though or review before buying.

i bought it since i were always airmech fan on the past if you don't know what is airmech or don't consume the media, don't buy this game, wastelands are a rushed product, the end is so abrupt and the only point of getting it, is either you're a already fan of airmech like me, or you're a airmech strike player. because the inventories between wastelands and strike shares, wastelands serves essentially as a way to obtain free premium items as along you grind for them, you can even sell them for gems, both you can use at airmeck strike.

Good gameplay and it's sometimes fun to play but the biggest nuissance... the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful survival missions that hinder any kind of progress into the Story.

I'm having a grand time with it. The servers were out of commission when I first tried to play, but now it's online (along with AirMech proper!) It's a chaotic and fun time, cranking out vehicles and defenses will warding off threats with your personal AirMech. I haven't had this much fun in this specific way since Defender on the PS2! And unlike that game, this has way more varieties in army units, AirMechs, and other tools you can use to custom-tailor to your playstyle. Get iiiiit! The community is small currently and it's not catching a lot of people's eyes right now as a result.

this adds a story to airmech. this is worth the money 9/10

Это невероятный и уникальный геймлпей - совмещение мобы и стратегии. В ней 9 мехов с различным друг от друга способностями, а также юнитов, поэтому тут огромное пространство для создания своего уникального билда. Есть мультиплеер, поэтому можно проходить компанию в коопе. Однако игра имеет несколько но: -1- Основная компания без прохождения доп. миссий достаточно короткая. -2- Здесь есть свой имбо мех, с прокачкой которого вы станете главным боссом игры. И что самое смешное - это оказался [spoiler]ВЕРТОЛЕТ[/spoiler]. Если сначала ещё можно нормально играть другими мехами, то на двух последних все мехи наносят прям днищенский урон, при условии, что они прокачаны на максимум. Шутка ли это, баг, все мехи должны были быть мусором или они должны были быть подобно боссу? Возможно да. -3- Несмотря на то, что игра как бы сюжетка бесплатного airmech'a, между играми есть различие. Во первых у них разная панель управления (в wasterland она старая), в wasterland есть ограничение на постройку определенного юнита (например баки 20-40) зато бесплатно, у мехов отличаются способности между играми, например ХЕЛИКС здесь просто стреляет ракетами + появилась возможность метать гранаты. Единственное, что игры связывает, это валюта и инвентарь, поэтому все юниты, мехи и скины будут всегда с вами. -4- Незнаю, как сейчас, но перевод на русич тут боль. -5- У меня получилось только 1 раз с кем то поиграть из-за мертвого онлайна -6- Все миссии на выживание полное за-лу-па. Они самые сложные и надо постоянно делать правильную расстановку войск, что ок, а в крайних случаях пользоваться чизами. Например вместо того чтобы пытаться защищать все три базы, можно просто защищать одну, с меньшими количеством проходов, т.к. врагам на этих миссиях становится вообще на7рать и они могут идти просто игнорируя ваших юнитов. -7- Если ваш имбо-мех умрет, то вам прийдется брать ДРУГОГО, НАХОДЯЩЕГОСЯ В ВАШЕМ АНГАРЕ, а не продолжать игру тем же. Что на некоторых миссиях приходилось перезапускать. А так я игру советую. Топ за свои деньги. Классный, быстрый геймплей. А все минусы перечеркиваются тем, что здесь есть [strike]транс[/strike]формеры + можно получить много валюты для обычного airmech.

Absolutely awful cashgrab. Started with a good idea but ended up in nothing and devs abandoned ship as soon as it became too hard to maintain. They even admit they can't make it fully offline. Stay clear out of this
