Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I like strategy games and I played many. Among my favourites are some published by Slitherine like Field of Glory: Empire. However the developers are vastly different. In this case I really don't like how it feels to play the game. My time is very short, but I've spend more time on the sucessor game focusing on Greece, which I also don't enjoy.
Terrible game...the controls are horrible, impossible to pick the correct stacked unit you want to move, the tech straight out of 1997. Horribly balanced game, your fully built up cities fall easily to CAVALRY units. The game cheats like mad, your fully upgraded units perform horribly against the cheat ai units. When you use the cheat code alt-a, you see that the cheat ai units are barely upgraded. This is playing on medium difficulty. $6 for this garbage, and still a rip-off. They have a whole range of cut and paste DLC's, avoid them all. I love how the dummies reviewing this game talk about the deep gameplay and the great ai blah blah blah. The simple fact of the matter is that in the civ games it was extremely difficult to take a well guarded city, in this game its nothing (even taking cheat ai cities). So the cheat ai follows the same pattern game after game, build up a huge amount of trash units, declare war and blitzkrieg you, and your great units you spent 20 turns building up get slaughtered in combat by crummy cheat ai units.

I bought this game to support the developers. Good game. Similar to Civilization 4.
