Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Taught me noble odium for line of sight, Henschel vehicular products, console-oriented shooter controls, copycat Hollywood scriptwriters and personally Randall Steward Pitchford II - before half a year later a tsunami named Call of Duty 2 washed it all away. FPS were toying with strategic elements back then - like Republic Commando around the same time or Medal of Honor: Airborne couple of years later. Generally they were trying to do something different, aiming for a more immersive experience. But - again - Call of Duty thoroughly homogenised all that into an even asphalt parking lot of spectacle for campaign + multiplayer for gameplay. Want an actually good "Yankees in Europe" romp? Play Burden of Command.
For anyone who missed good'ol WW2 FPS games, well this is it. Runs on Windows 11 fine, just open v-sync because in one mission AI gets stuck because of high frame rate. You do flanking and stuff, you command two fireteams generally and give them orders, flank and maneuver. Graphics are old, shooting feels janky. But it is a good dame with a lot of authenticity. I give 7/10.

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is a first person shooter. Gearbox did a great job with this game. Gameplay is excellent and the graphics are decent. As the story unfolds, you must choose between the success of your mission and the lives of your men - your brothers in arms. The Brothers in Arms trilogy are all World War II action shooters. Played this on my Dell Precision 3480 with Arc Xe graphics and RTX A500 discrete graphics. Game is very playable. The easy system requirements suggest Arc Xe graphics can play this at 1920x1080 easily.

You are supposed to be fit soldier in a new unit type of USArmy, but it feels like you are rather a drunkard in a penal unit. Atmosphere, immersion, any feeling, realism, or authenticity? Absent. The only good things in the game are cinematics about the story, that's it. Shooting mechanics, I doubt you can find anything worse than what is here, but at the same I get it, it is a game about leading others, so they made shooting as bad as they could, because if you could shoot everyone from far away, then why even bother leading, and using your team for anything? Gun sways so much you must be always drunk, hangover, or I don't know. Shooting, or even using any guns, gives exactly 0 fun, blood on hit, any enemy behavior while hit, absent, sometime they'll shout "I'm hit" in German, that's it. The game is not only linear, meaning you complete it once, and never play it again, but just poorly designed, when it comes to map, and the whole team leading philosophy makes completely no sense, seems like one team of people made the team system, and a bunch of randoms made the maps, then another team decided to create a game combining bothe of those. You don't have any freedom when it comes to gameplay, you don't really have any choice, it is more of a logical puzzle game, with predefined routes you must take, with predefined unit position placement, predefined flanking predefined enemy positions, predefined chokepoints, and everything else is predefined. The amount of times I wanted to flank something, and I encountered a wall, too many times. One mission I want to go right because to me it seems the best possible solution, nope can't do, as the DEVs decided that during this mission, in this exact spot, you will be flanking left. Next mission? I'm going left, nope, you must go right this type to flank the enemies. The map design, and the game itself gives you illusion of choice, it takes a long time to complete them, because every couple meter a bunch of Germans appears out of nowhere, so those tiny maps, that would take you less than a minute to get from start to finish take like 10, or more. The controls are as to be expect, completely whack, you also have toggle irons under middle mouse, if you press reload, it goes back to reload, and back to irons, like what the hell? A lot of objects seem to be bulletproof, imagine you hide behind a wooden fence, which in reality would be shreded to pieces while in this game, it is as invincible, as I don't know... though it seem there is a possibility to eliminate enemies behind it. Map design for me is so confusing, that I got to fight MG42 nests head on, and only later on finding out, hey... I could flank it, but that was already mentioned. You only get to flank in certain moments of the game, when the DEVs want you to flank, if you think you're better than that and you will want to find a different route, you'll be stopped by a bush, fence, wall, or anything. Just awful in every technical aspect. The team leading as the main selling aspect is interesting, but you start a mission, face 2 Germans, move left 2 German, move right 2 Germans and MG nest, move left 4 Germans, more right 1 German, move left... that's how the game is designed. You literaly fight for every meter of the tiny map, that is more active and more valuable than any WW1 land ever was.
TLDR: Revolutionary for its time, Road to Hill 30 has aged gracefully in its story, but shows its age in shooting mechanics. Pros: - In an oversaturated genre, Road to Hill 30 sets itself apart through an intense and emotional storyline with some of the best voice acting in gaming history. You'll genuinely care about Baker and his squad. - Gritty combat feels frighteningly realistic, despite its age. Ragdoll physics, impactful explosions, and armor/heavy weapons that can change the course of a battle instantly. - Map design is based off real world battles/locations and it feels very genuine. - Incredible soundtrack, effects, and ambiance. Cons: - The shooting is frustrating due to weapon sway and exaggerated recoil. I get they wanted to make the player feel like they were frantically in a battle and 'only human', but the reality is dumping a Thompson mag into 3 unsuspecting Germans should be possible... in Road to Hill 30, it isn't. - Some brutal difficulty spikes feel unfair (even on easy). - While the AI for enemies can catch you off guard for a game this age, the friendly AI leaves much to be desired. Your brothers will run headfirst into MG-42 fire without warning or take cover in front of barriers... - Requires some tweaking to get running on modern monitors. Overall: 8/10
I love these games a lot and that I'm reliving my childhood days with SGT Baker and the gang.
