Aggressors: Ancient Rome

This game is graphically poor. The Sounds are terrible. Gameplay lacks originality. It feels more or less like a less polished version of the experience you'd get playing a modded Civ 4 game. Got this on some sale of 'women led dev teams'. Won't be doing that again. Even at the lower price I wouldn't recommend this or the other instalment Imperium Greek wars. They've released essentially the same game twice and lots of overpriced dlc for both. When your game is this basic to begin with you have some cheek to paywall most of the factions. All seems v focused on profit with very little value for money. Avoid. EDIT: It's true that this game has no current DLC, however it is basically a DLC of the other entry, which does have several overpriced DLC. This game is actually DLC disguised as a separate game. Not a v good one.

I just bought the game today, thinking I'd quickly check that everything works before shutting down my PC. Almost six hours later, I had to force myself to turn it off. It's truly a 'one more turn' kind of strategy. I hadn't planned on it, but after those six hours, I ended up buying their newer game called Imperiums: Greek Wars as well. Good work, devs! I hope to write a more detailed review later on.

Aggressors ist toll! Es hat ein sehr schönes Tutorial und ich kam schnell ins Spiel rein! Ich spiele als Rom und es macht mir sehr viel Spaß! Richtig toll, den geistigen Vorgänger von Imperiums zu besitzen und zu spielen! I bought it because it was on sale, and I've played it for just a couple of hours, but I can say it's a pretty good game. The mechanics are quite deep, and it will take time to understand them. For a small indie developer team, it's a pretty impressive achievement to create a game like this. Good job!

well... It is just Total War Rome but with less content and without the awesome battles . Cities have very little upgrades and some mechanics are hard to understand. Has a nice tutorial though. Because i have played Rome Total War i find it very hard to get into this game without getting bored . Response to the devs. I might revisit it some time in the future 😊
