Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is fantastic. I think it's better than Age of Wonders 4 in a lot of ways including hero progression, research tree, and story. The campaign is actually very long and quite good!

An improvement on the M&M system, faster than Civilization and easier to play than both franchises. I really enjoy this game and I can even beat a 4 player map in an afternoon. Great time.

A sad parody of heroes of might and magic
Age of Wonders III – Classic fantasy 4X with proper punchy battles Age of Wonders III is basically the sweet spot between a fantasy Civilization and a tactical RPG – and it leans just enough into both to feel great. On the strategic layer, you’re running a fantasy empire: Founding and upgrading cities Grabbing resources and magical sites Expanding your domain with forts and outposts Researching spells and empire upgrades Nothing wildly experimental, but it’s all smooth and satisfying, with a great sense of building up power over time. The real magic is in the tactical battles. When armies clash, the game drops you into a hex-based battlefield where positioning, flanking, abilities and terrain actually matter. Units have clear roles: tanks, glass-cannon damage dealers, support, flyers, artillery. Heroes feel like mini-RPG characters: they level up, get gear, learn abilities and can turn a fight on their own if used well. Spells from the world map can be dropped into battles for big, dramatic swings. It hits that perfect fantasy-strategy loop: scout → plan → set up a nasty ambush → win a fight that looked impossible because you used your tools well. The races and classes are a big plus too. You don’t just pick “elves” or “dwarves” – you combine a race with a class (Sorcerer, Warlord, Dreadnought, etc.), which changes your units, spells and playstyle. A Dwarf Theocrat and an Elf Rogue feel properly different, even on the same map. Downsides? The AI can sometimes blob and carpet the map with armies rather than play “cleverly”. Late game turns can get a bit long when everyone has huge stacks wandering around. The UI is very 2010s-PC – functional, but not exactly elegant. But overall, Age of Wonders III is a genuinely strong fantasy 4X with great tactical combat. If you like building an empire, nurturing a killer hero stack and then absolutely deleting enemy armies with well-timed spells and flanking maneuvers, it still holds up really well.
2 часть была шедевр, а эта-разочарование
well... wanted to play the game with a friend, he said it was quite nice. But now it starts again with this annoying "Oh yes, you want to play online? You have to create the 10,000 account and create a permanent link to your Steam account" ... no, I have no idea if the game is any good, but I'm just tired of having a different account for every game...
1. launch game 2. wait for your friends 3. realise your friends dont like this game anymore 4. contemplate your loneliness 5. decide whether to play alone 6. close game 7. go cry in a corner
