Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game has a lot of good. But 1 incredibly glaring issue makes me unable to recommend the game. I can't change the resolution. This game has a LOT of reading. Which is fine, If I can read it. I can't adjust the resolution to my screen, I can't read the text easily or properly.
Really need official Chinese language.

Thoughts: * Just completed the first campaign, good scenario/story correspondance. * Decently fun playing solo, probably not worth buying. * Paradox gonna Paradox Elven Court Campaign Sapphire Archipelago: * Taking land requires local naval dominance to cross straits * You don't get any dedicated naval units and can't build any without them getting instantly destroyed * Result: Succubi are your strongest naval/melee units because all other flying units are just scouts
I just like this kind of game (round-based fantasy tactical combat with magic and cool characters. I've played Master of Magic, then AoW 1 and AoW2. AoW III follows in their footsteps (with better graphics obviously).
Никогда не запускайте эту игру на часик перед сном. Слышите?! Никогда! Просто не надо. Поверьте.
very fun if you like turn based strategy games, i could go through a 10 hours gaming session on this while barely getting bored, i actually find myself coming back to the age of wonders franchise often, it's like that two week minecraft phase.
Definitely yes, I'll play this again. Looks like I bought this game on a whim and then left it alone for 6 years, until now. A bit surprised that it is turn-based, but I enjoyed it. Did the recommended tutorial campaign and steam-rolled through the first 2 chapters. Expected the 3rd chapter to be similar, but got absolutely rekt. I'll get my revenge, some day... Not entirely sure about the 4000 yen price point on an 11 years old game that has a well-rated sequel at less than twice that price, and an even better rated prequel at less than half the price, but in a vacuum I'd say 3000 yen would be a fair price. Might be worth picking up at a discount.
Amazing story, good mechanics - simple and elegant. What I like a lot is the fact that the game's different features manage to increase the complexity of the gameplay exponentially not linearly - an uncommon feat. I like the combination of styles and lore drawn from various fantasy worlds, many elements seem rooted in generic fantasy tropes, but the result is far from trite. It is not exactly beginner-friendly, and if you don't know what you are doing the campaigns could seem nearly impossible even on normal difficulty, but once you learn the ropes it becomes fairly straightforward to devise an effective strategy. The story, despite the lack of cinematics or immersive cutscenes, is very rich. I particularly enjoy the mission briefings—the artwork and dialogue before each mission are amazing. The voice acting is incredible—some of the best and most expressive I’ve ever encountered in a game. The visuals are also stunning—many images are worthy to be put in a frame. Despite the fact that AOW3 is a sequel, its story is simple to comprehend and doesn't really require any past knowledge to understand it at a meaningful level. Some missions are quite long and way more difficult than others and some could be repetitive, but nothing too bland. Depending on who you ask, this might be the best AOW game, even better than AOW4. I am not really sure witch is more amazing, but it is certainly the most elegant, and it delivers the story in the best way, witch weigh heavy for any game. In both aspects, it is far superior to AOW4. Age of Wonders 3 is iconic to the 4X genre. The game is very good, if you have some patience, like strategy, empire building, high fantasy and a good story it's a must-play.
