Remeber getting a full version of this once in a cereal box. So many hours of my youth sank into reading every character's info, small wonder I ended up knowing a lot about mythology (Egyptian, Norse and Greek). Always appreciated to switch over to free-hand building unlike in Age of Empires 2. Also, you get to recruit mythological units and heroes with unique powers, you get to use god powers and the progression feels rather nice with unlocking new advancements along the way. Always a pleasure to crush my friends in a pvp game, exploiting what the game offers. There is no better sight than encircling and defeating a titan with 200 buffed-out priests. And the campaign – I do remember it being oh so funny when I played it as a kid. I mean, it still is. But better in old graphics. It adds so much to the feel of the era. No other game has ever made quite the same impression ever since and this one will always stay in my heart where it belongs.

A classic,only buy this version if you have a weak pc, as Retold has many quality of life changes and also this version is abandoned anyway...
