“Age of Mythology: Extended Edition” is a title I approached not out of a personal affinity for the Real-Time Strategy genre which I struggle to enjoy, but as a social compromise while playing with a friend. One hour of this, to get to enjoy one hour of something I prefer. So, while I can recognize the polish, the thematic ambition, and the mechanical depth that have made it a classic for RTS fans, the core gameplay loop never managed to click for me. (5/10) As someone who prioritizes narrative agency and the deliberate pace of an RPG, the high-pressure multitasking and base management inherent to this genre feel more like a source of friction than a source of fun. However, my lack of enjoyment is a matter of personal taste rather than a flaw in the game’s design. It functions exactly as intended and provides a very robust experience for its target audience. I am making the review positive and rating the game a 5/10 to reflect its status as a competent, well-made product that simply falls outside my personal sphere of interest. If you are already a fan of the genre, your experience will likely differ significantly from mine; but if you, like me, prefer a different style of gameplay, this title may feel like a fast-paced struggle. just lovely
this is one of the best games ever and passes time away
ill be playing this in 2065 too
Bawk Bawk Boom! This RTS has pretty decent voice acting, good story telling and fun gameplay. When I owned it on disc in the windows XP days I put hundreds of hours into playing the campaign and free play modes. There are plenty of fun cheats and good times to be had.
AMAZING
Review: The story is okay it’s just Arkantos trying to save Atlantis While Gargarensis is trying to revive Chronus. The hidden relics in maps were the only cool thing to explore the map 4, as for campaign design its old and has little difference between mission styles but it was never boring. Standout mission was when all your people were turned to pigs.
muito bom
