This rich fantasy world loved by fans for its deep tactics and epic stories is due to become that much larger once the upcoming Ratmen enter the fold, bringing with it a brand new, meaty mainline quest for fans to battle through. But like any good adventure, it's never really over!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really like the variety of ways to put together an army, and multiple ways to tailor the difficulty and game experience--most things that could annoy you can be toggled on/off, so you can really customize the game to your liking more than I'm really ever used to seeing.
Good game
I bought and played all the games and still bought AoF:Total, for less downloads when updating. :-) Even if you own some (or all, in my case) games, it makes sense to buy Total. I'm writing this review because it's an insult to Les, one of the nicest developers I know, to have only 12 positive reviews for Total :-)

I really love this game. But not just lately, but for YEARS NOW, I go through year long periods where the game just will not start up at all. I get a message that the game needs to verify my files, (ONCE!) but it only gets to around 20%, lags and shuts down. End of stories. Then, out of the blue, I'll try it again and it suddenly just boots up with no problems at all. Though I didn't change ANYTHING. I just really hate the inconsistency is all.
Very fun and addictive game ! The price is a bargain for what ur getting, especially if the dev does keep developing content :) Hopefully he will :D
Surprising amount of depth and setups for what's supposed to be a linear RPG game. I personally disable open world and random events because I don't want those intruding my campaign, but there are still several campaign related and unrelated stuffs to do. The game is also challenging on Normal, which I like. Overall worth its price, but buy the separated game if you think the price is too high.
So I played more on the older version, and just replaying the original game at this point. Being the evil Necromancer is super fun: always having a cheap army at the ready only the dragons are really posing a threat to my army. I like the fact the world map has open up to do side missions and ignore the main campaign, I don't remember that being the case in the original game. Radial base movement is rare for tactical games, I can only think a handful of other games that use it. Your heroes are going to be your most valuable units, and because lost conditions are usually to the campaign's lead survival, you will be cautious in using them. The series routinely goes on 50% off sales, and can be run on the most resource limited machines.
Good game needs more mods
Ok this game is fantastic. I am playing through the Kril campaign and its a perfect necromancer story. I enjoy the turn based combat and the intuitive play style. So let me explain; for me a good turn based tactics game allows me to explore strategies without having to default to some meta troops. Im rolling with the same skeleton archer I started with and he still comes in clutch for me!
The fact that this game is from an indie developer is mind blowing. This game may be the best buy I ve done in a long while. The 2d artwork is beautiful, the campaigns are so satisfying to complete, from awesome weapons to fireballs, from humans to ratmen, from random fights to epic boss battles, this game has it all. Any tactical rpg lover should give this game a try. If i could rate this game I would give it a 10/10, even compared to the high end games.
