The Darkside Detective

I am a big point and click fan, but don’t typically play pixelated games so I was very skeptical. But after how much I enjoyed Seance of Blake Manor I decided to give it a chance. And man, I didn’t think it was possible for me to adore two pixelated men so much! The mysteries and their settings are fun and I really enjoyed the humor. I can’t wait to see more of these two.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, but unfortunately I do not. While other reviewers say the game is too easy, which parts of it are really really easy, I personally find some of the solutions don't make sense even if you're reading every bit of dialogue and scanning every room for items. There were a few solutions that I had to find by randomly dragging items in my inventory on top of each other in hopes they would combine into something I could use. I wouldn't describe this as challenging, but more so frustrating that there's no real "detective work" to it, just brute forcing solutions. Not worth it, even on sale.

白金撒花，来进行一个评测 [h1]像素风格化和黑色幽默一样优秀的，侦探主题解密游戏[/h1] [h3]可能你会在意：文字很丰富好玩，主角有卖腐对象，对成就党不算友好，有大量鼠标操作，翻译稍微有误[/h3] 画面：黑暗侦探1是一部相当优秀的像素风点击探索游戏 - 优秀到它的第二部与它比起来都略显逊色。本作在充分发扬像素风格的简约美同时，也并没有在视觉效果（特效，道具等等）上显得逊色，[spoiler]并且没放过任何一个自嘲画质的机会[/spoiler]让本像素爱好者玩的很舒服 游戏剧情：游戏视角跟随麦昆侦探和他的搭档[spoiler]胸大无脑的[/spoiler]杜利警官，两名从业于双湖城“黑暗部门”——一个调查和监管双湖城内一切神秘力量，非自然现象相关事件的警局部门。游戏一共有6个本体按键与3个附加按键，每个按键都有一个通关成就和若干彩蛋成就。大概40%的成就需要跟随指南获取，而这40%中有大概70%个成就比较繁琐累人……虽然他们的文本都非常有趣。制作组在游戏的各个角落塞入了大量的flavoured text和无厘头成就，[strike]按tab可以看见所有可交互内容，想多玩五块钱的小伙伴们可以多多探索设置并且在每个地点进行交互[/strike] 操作：因为是点击探索游戏，黑暗侦探1颇有flash时代解密小游戏的遗风。游戏的很多操作，逻辑[spoiler]包括狗屎的关卡设计[/spoiler]，画面风格等等都让我想起point and click风格的工作室carmel games，在2010年代很喜欢玩电脑和flash小游戏的朋友们应该会很熟悉黑暗侦探的手感。但话又说回来，点击探索很容易按的人手累，因此不能设计那种需要在多个场景之间穿梭的谜题（或者可以进行一些减负的设计，比如右键回到上一个场景或者tp等等）dlc中有很多游玩逻辑混乱，要在多个场景中反复穿梭让人心累的情况。圣诞关卡中很多道具逻辑并不明显，希望新作可以对鼠标操作进行适当的减负，并对游戏逻辑进行优化 语言：在本地化相当优秀的同时，翻译还是有一些基础到匪夷所思的问题。比如”butler"会被翻译成巴特勒先生，附加案件中甚至有翻译直接消失的情况。
