Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

As someone who studies Homer, it is really interesting to see the interpretation of these heroes. Though the price is a little steep and I do find it challenging, it is worth getting if you like Homer or rts games.
Unfortunately, this part of the TW series shares the flaws that all of the TW games have (lousy AI, stupid diplomacy, cheating AI, player bias, fiddely micromanagement, bad sieges). It also misses the most important part, that make TW worthwhile: The interesting combat. There is just a gazillion versions of the 4 same units: Infantry with shield, infantry with two handed, infantry with javelins and infantry with bows/slings. In my 30 hours, I only once encountered a different unit (a chariot unit). This makes combat extremely boring, because you are very limited in terms of strategies. Especially in sieges, when you have to fight in chokepoints. You can just go make a lunch and come back, and they will still be fighting in that chokepoint. So most of the time, I found myself autoresolving fights. But without the fights all that is left is a very lackluster empire building game. A real shame.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Najlepszy Total War. W końcu to epoka brązu jeszcze. Generalnie 9,9/10, dzieciaki czytajcie mitologię!
Def one of the better total wars. Looks good, runs good, it's fun!, and allows you to play with a bunch of god fantasy stuff or a more real experience. It's also more challenging than other total wars. I usually start on hard and smoke everything before I bump it up, but I'm at 50 hrs and I think I might win my first one on this attempt.
Пожалуй скучнейшая игра серии. Если хотите еще одну Рим 2 ДЛС Ярость Спарты, то это оно. Просто немного приукрашенное с добавлением мифических существ.
The graphics are some of the best in TW and the AI seems to be a challenge the plot & story arc are as true to the original Greek as modern gaming can offer ...
Гра сподобалася новими механіками (найновіше, в що грав до цього - Аттіла), графікою, різноманітністю фракцій і героїв. З нетерпінням чекатиму Medieval 3
This game is incredibly detailed, wonderfully dedicated to both the Homeric source material and even actual history; I've been looking for a game like this forever. Although the DLC spam is irritating.
one of the best total war titles
I really wanted to like this Total War title, being a total war player since Rome 1. I love the setting, I love the art style, I love the idea of the Mythos DLC, but at the end of the day, I moved on from this total war title quicker than I had any others. Don't get me wrong, there are some great ideas in this game, but at the end of the day, the battles just do not feel good -- they are much too fast and often against garrisons. Additionally, the balancing of the units in this game feels off - missile units are OP, morale is wonky, and it doesn't help that most faction's rosters are pretty poor for the first 20-30 turns. Even the mythological units from the Mythos DLC feel unbalanced - some feel super weak and not worth recruiting while some feel OP. I'm sad to say it, but I've moved on to Pharaoh and am having a much better time.
