Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 2 → 1.57/day in the week after.

Compared to Rome it's trash, the ui is a major part of that.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Total War Saga: Troy feels like an interesting experiment that never quite finds its footing. It borrows the mythic grandeur of the Trojan War and dresses it in Creative Assembly’s usual mix of strategy and spectacle, but the result feels oddly restrained. The Mythological mode (which is what I mainly played) adds flavor with its special mythological units and divine interventions, but it can’t disguise how streamlined the mechanics are. The factions just lack the deep personality and complexity of the mainline Total War titles. Battles, while still visually awesome, rarely felt as tactical or weighty as they should and seem to be missing a special... something. That said, there’s still a certain charm to it; the visuals are good, the game has a creative, stylistic approach in many aspects, the mythic overtones lend it some atmosphere, and it can be fun in short bursts but in the long run, it feels hollow compared to the depth of the other games. The game isn’t bad, it’s just... fine. Fine enough for me to recommend it at least, because what it does do isn't entirely awful, it just... isn't what we normally expect out of this series I guess is the best way to put it. I don't see myself replaying it, that's for sure. If you are curious of the title, I'd suggest doing your research first as I'd imagine this one would be a more niche of an experience than the other games in the series.
ЗА ЛУ ПА КОНЯ
played plenty of TW games and out of all the TW games I've played this one is the least rewarding. diplomacy in this game feels like it doesn't even exist. The AI gives no ♥♥♥♥♥ and randomly starts attacking you with no game plan. my entire campaign has been me trying to control Thracians from spawning 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ armies then running away from me turn after turn. conquered all of Greece and gave up, id rather suck start my 20 gauge then play this game again.
It sucks
One of the worst total war games. higher tier units have no morale and units dont feel better than any others in a 1v1 fight. tactical battles are fun although morale issues are frustrating. the ai is unrelenting regardless of faction strength. The economy while unique is frustrating and tedious to manage.
全面战争系列中完成度很高,可以和不列颠相比,还分三钟模式,历史、荷马史诗、神话三种,果断选择最后一种。
Total war and Troy - the best combination ever
