Zombie Simulator

Забавная убивалка времени, не более того. Никакого сюжета, смысловой цепочки, только 12 уровней, в которых нужно крошить кожаных человеков и продвигаться дальше. Порадовало то, что не смотря на свою скромную стоимость в магазине, игра достаточно неплохо оптимизирована. 7/10 за какое никакое однообразие уровней.

I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this game - especially given it's low price. I played with the Steam Controller and found the partial support a little frustrating at times (I switched back to keyboard for a couple of precision jumps) but overall it didn't really impact the gameplay. The graphics are good enough for what the game is and the swarming of the zombie horde is very nice. Of course, it would be nice to have more than twelve levels but for £0.79 who can complain - the levels that are there have some nice variations on the basic theme. I like it. I like it a lot. It's a nice way to unwind if you have a few minutes to spare and some tensions to release ;)

Mechanically, I can appreciate the effort that was put into this game. There are destructible objects, special units, and flocking zombies that are capable of navigating over the top of objects. However, the novelty is not worth the painful slog that is the gameplay. Each time you approach a group of humans, they flee to every corner of the map, creating what feels like an endless loop of running back and forth across the entire map. It has the same pleasure as chasing a stack of papers aimlessly flying in the wind.

Zombie Simulator is like one of those terrible ads you get whilst watching YouTube. The gameplay is whatever. There's 12 levels, where your goal is to infect everyone on the map to create an unstoppable horde. There'll be enemies that try to take down your horde, tanks, helicopers and just normal, easy to infect, civilians. There's not much more to say, it's kinda meh in my opinion. If you like the crappy mobile game vibe, well I guess this one's for you.
