About
ZeroSpace is a hybrid sci-fi RTS / RPG game that allows you to play as the commander of The Protectorate, a galactic force dedicated to securing humanity’s place in the galaxy. The Orion sector is locked in a vicious power struggle between many alien factions, all armed to the teeth and ready to fight to the death to achieve space dominance. Harness the latest warfare technology and recruit seasoned shock troopers and specialist crew members. Navigate through political turmoil as you make the hard choices needed to guarantee humanity’s place among the stars. But really the choice is yours. Don’t like the Protectorate? Pick a different faction, and wipe your opposition off the face of the galaxy.
Deploy infantry, artillery and air weaponry to dominate the battlefield. Engage in strategic buildcraft and troop deployment either solo, with a friend or against everyone. Orbital weapons, nuclear strikes, mechs are just some of the ingredients you get to play with. Pick your favorite arsenal and allegiance and lay waste to your enemies, scattering their burning carcasses among the Orion Sector.
Jump into an epic, cinematic saga of brotherhood in arms that spans the galaxy. Take on the mantle of Aster, Commander of the Protectorate, tasked with saving humanity from losing access to interstellar travel and receding into an age of darkness and ignorance. Engage in a cinematic RPG experience where your choices shape the future of the galaxy, then drop into the battlefields to execute on your strategies.
With 4 warring factions (3 active in pre-launch period), 7 mercenary factions and 14 distinct commanders all vying for power and dominance, you will have to use all your wit and strategic thinking to come out on top. Ally yourself with the right parties, build out your force, and protect the Orion sector.
A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.
Rank to become the dominant battle group in the sector as you take part in a living, breathing galaxy shared by thousands of real players. Defend your territory and conquer neighboring planets by leading a vast armada of troops, aliens, creatures, vehicles, and heavy weaponry- all for the glory of your alliance.

i mean i bought after the day one patch but as a sc2beta to today player this is literally exceptional
I haven't played an RTS in a while, but this was easy to get back into. Lots of quality of life improvements. Have been enjoying the galactic war and strategizing which planets to capture. Fun game so far.
If you like coop RTS this is definitely worth it - a bit of a steep price, but it's not like there's many options in the genre. It's still Early Access, so be ready for a few bugs, balancing issues, and some clunky interfaces; though I've yet to find anything gamebreaking or egregious. To summarize my experience with it, it has the potential to become really good, but it's enjoyable to play as is.

A really good game, with great gameplay and solid dialogue. There are a few minor things that could be improved. Hopefully, enough people support it so the developers can keep making it better, because it has the potential to become the new StarCraft 3.
A very fun RTS. Been backing the game since the OG kickstarter. The RTS aspects bring me back to OG RTS like Dawn of war, SC2 with the base building, you're able to field large armies to go at each other, however with the modern day UI and acess (for example spells all being easy to select whilst having a large variety of units selected) I haven't come across any issues in terms of difficulty (maybe a little bit on the easy side of brutal) or bugs that are game breaking... I did have a unit T posing which is funny, but wasn't impacting the game at all Would defnintly reccomend grabbing the game if you need an itch for how RTS should be
It is definitely an early access, but I had my fun with it and I'm certainly not done, so worth the price. But if you just want to play a campaign, then wait for the full release.
Demo was fun, the game is fun, They added new modes for co-op! Sadly the performance dropped from the demo. I have a high end rig and in demo I was getting 90FPS by end of a match, now I get about 15. Keeping the game though! SP story is great so far and runs smoother than MP. Opto will come to us soon!
fun
Played many starcraft clones recently, this game is one of the better ones.
Neat RTS, needs some work but runs well and I enjoyed my time with it so far
