Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Sep 4 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

you know that iconic hat trick that clowns do? the one with the handkerchiefs? where the clown shows you, like, the edge of one handkerchief, right. sticking out of one of their pockets, or maybe his mouth or whatever. and then he tugs at the handkerchief and, bam! turns out it's attached to another handkerchief. how amusing! then he keeps pulling. another handkerchief! and the handkerchiefs keep coming, just this one string of tied handkerchiefs that keeps getting longer and longer. and you're watching, and thinking: surely that's the last handkerchief? surely this clown has no more secrets to keep. but he keeps pulling. and pulling. and you can't look away. that's what reading zero escape is like. 'tis a handkerchief string of a narrative in the best way possible. mystery on mystery on mystery, and the mysteries and the plot twists keep on coming, forming this delightful chain of intrigue and surprise. occasionally interspersed with the writers being horny jokesters. mr. sigma please stop asking the female characters to wear swimsuits. we have some codes to find. overall both games in this bundle are incredible experiences with engaging puzzles and fascinating plotlines. i suggest skimming some of the top reviews for tips on making the most out of both games (switching to the NOVEL screen for 999, how to toggle fast-forward text in VLR, trying other routes after getting your first ending, etc).
yet another reason to hate on the phamaceutical industry
Two games for the price of one, or I guess 40% of what games are going for these days. Anyway, both of these games are definitely worth getting into if you're really into thrilling mysteries. The first game in the series is a must-play and not only a classic but, dare I say, the best of Kotaro Uchikoshi's works. If you could buy just 999, then I would recommend buying this far more. Even if you're not a fan of puzzles, 999, they are really forgiving and masterfully done. VLR, I have mixed feelings about it; its story is well told, but the pacing is slow and pretty repetitive. I think the price is worth paying just 999 if you can't ignore the faults of VLR, but I find that it may grow on you as it did on me. (if not 999, might leave you hungry for more).
The story, the characters, the gameplay, the ost, the voice actors, THE PLOT TWISTS, E V E R Y T H I N G is just soooooooo good 0-0. Why did it took me so long to discover these games- (fun fact : what made me want to start playing them in the first place was the fan opening made by Andrew Moers on youtube (ITS SO WELL MADE.LIKE.WOOOOOOWWW >:0 )).
fix your game bru i progressed in it theres no sound and it doesnt save anymore ts unintalled it and intalled it back and it doesnt work verified the files and its useless still same issue
good game that has some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on but still makes sense i guess
Eccellente doppiaggio giapponese.
